There's no encryption of public data, so public keys, chaincode and user input are always visible. Maybe I'll do something about that in the future, but that's another topic entirely. Private key data is encrypted more often than not, as it's basically impossible to create a wallet in Armory without setting a password.

Ok, thanks. So because it's encrypted I am safe. Is someone does gain access to the client and try and send they will be prompted for it Smiley Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I'm guessing you mean in terms of a prompt at the splash screen? Nothing like that available that I am aware of.
You do have a password set on your wallet right? With an encrypted wallet nobody can mess with your coins without the password. Doesn't stop anyone from checking the balance on an online setup, though.

I am probably missing it somewhere but is it possible to password protect Armory on startup. I have got my paper backup but the client on running on my laptop does not have any password on it, which would be nice.

I am using version 0.96.3
