Hi I had this same problem on two different laptops. In both cases it ultimately appeared armory was scanning just the local
copy of the blockchain in the .bitcoin folder, and then showing my (then correct) wallet balamces. I realized something wasn't right
when I left the computers off for 5 or 6 days and when I rebooted, armory was scanning and updating the blockchain
too fast to be true. Bitcoin Core, however, would continue to update the local copy of the blockchain correctly if run as
a stand-alone.

Choosing "Resync and Rescan" option from the file menu fixed the problem on one machine for me.

In the case of the other machine, I had a custom install directory for Bitcoin Core that was nested a ways down. Turned out
I has a subtle typo in the long directory name, and armory simply couldn't find the executable for Bitcoin Core. Instead it
scanned the local copy of the blockchain, in the .bitcoin folder, as last updated by Core. Then it displayed my wallet balances
based on that info, and then went into "Offline" mode as indicated by the lower right corner message.

In a future version, it would be nice if Armory expressly told you in a splash box error message if it could not find the Core executable
"because no such directory exists". That would put you onto the problem quick, instead of having you troubleshoot a bunch of
different things.

I had to rebuild the database to get it solved as well.  Goatpig, where do we find the latest test builds?

I did the "Rebuild and Rescan Databases" and that resolved it for me. 477658 blocks in the Armory now and seeing the latest balance.

Is this still unsolved?

I have the same version of Armory/Bitcoin Core. Bitcoin Core is up to date with latest blocks while Armory is stuck around the same number as you are. And obviously not showing the latest transactions.

I will try some things, if I don't figure this out on my own. I will make a post with my own dblog and armorylog.

Bitcoin Client Software and Version Number: Bitcoin Core 0.14.2 (64bit)
Armory version  0.96.0
Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
System Hardware Specs: 2.4 GHz Quad Core CPU with 12 GB RAM and 695 GB free hard drive space.
Description of Problem: When I run bitcoin core it will download the latest blocks which are now at 477466 but when I open Armory it says “Connected” but remains at 472941 blocks(nodes).  I do not understand why it will not update with the latest nodes. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Armory but it didn’t help.  I’ve also tried having Armory run core in the background and not in the background but neither helps.  I think the problem started when I downloaded AVG Free protection.  I have now removed AVG but continue to have the same problem. Lost for what to do next.
