However, when I restore my wallet, it shows I have never made a transaction or had any addresses at all! The database was built fine, scanned transactions fine.
If your Bitcoin Core is fully synced and unpruned... and Armory is communicating with it OK (showing as 'Online' and the number of blocks is ~710227), then everything is running properly. So, if you then restored your Armory wallet using the backup you have... and it's "Empty", then you may have the wrong backup.

Do you see any transaction history in Armory at all? Or is it completely blank? Huh

-snip- Although i don't know whether option "Help > Clear All Unconfirmed" exist on newer version of Armory.
The option is still available in version 0.96.5.
However, he used a new Armory installation and just imported the wallet/root-key so the wallet is already rescanned for balance and it ended up empty.

Thank you for the reply, -snip-
You can still try the latest version before throwing the towel, there could be an issue with v0.96.
As you can see in the note on 0.96's download page: www.bitcoinarmory.com (old Armory website), the latest release can now be downloaded from btcarmory.com.

Upgrade to the latest, then use "Help->Rebuild and Rescan Databases";
if still empty, try "Help->Rescan Balance" for the last time.

-snip- OP's image has been also taken in 2015.
Nice observation Wink
You can tell based from "390371 blocks", I see.

Obviously, there's something wrong with that instance.
It seems to be a bug.
I just made a search and found the following topic. yslyung reported a same issue with Armory in 2015. OP's image has been also taken in 2015.
Suddenly too much BTC in my armory ? Weird issues.

The balance shown in that old topic is 184467440736 BTC. That's same as OP's balance here.

Also, I apologize. In my haste, I did not see the sticky on the proper format for tech support requests.

Thank you for the reply, and yes, I know there will never be that many BTC. I have no idea what kind of glitch that was. It's been so long, I can't remember if I even tried to spend some it... I feel like I didn't because it was an obvious error. Stupid. What did I have to lose by trying? Anyway, I believe I'll just set fire to my entire system/home. Maybe just walk the earth for a while. Too much frustration. I'm faaaar from an expert on this stuff. Was thinking the fork years back may have something to do with it. Likely a stupid thought. Just grasping at straws. Anyway, thanks for the reply nc50lc

I have a new computer, I downloaded all of the blockchain, and I proceeded to download the new 0.96 version of Armory.
The actual latest version is v0.96.5 from btcarmory.com.
Anyways, since it synced, and the balance is 0, then the balance is actually not surprisingly zero.
You can try to install the latest version and rescan and rebuild Armory's database (it wont resyc Bitcoin core).

Hello, everyone. First, I apologize if I am posting in the wrong place. I just need help. A few days ago, I would have said I was better with computers than the average bear.... after these past few days of failure, I would not say that anymore. Anyway, 6 or so years ago I got into BTC using Armory version 0.93.2. I made many transactions (instead of holding - I know...idiot) anyway, I know there is an amount of BTC in my wallet. I have the seed. All of that. However, it has been years since I opened that wallet. I have a new computer, I downloaded all of the blockchain, and I proceeded to download the new 0.96 version of Armory. However, when I restore my wallet, it shows I have never made a transaction or had any addresses at all! The database was built fine, scanned transactions fine.

Please, I have been bashing my head against the wall for days, but now have to ask for help. Currently using windows 10, but I have an okay relationship with Linux systems. Mostly Debian. Is there some way to install the old version of Armory? Perhaps it will then work properly. I just don't know what to try anymore. My brain is fried Huh. Please, could someone help me?

I have logs and old ass pics that show I indeed made transactions through the wallet. **I can conjure up any info that might help if anyone on here has a clue.

**probably/maybe

Here's a still unexplained instance back in 2015ish when I opened my wallet to find I had 184467440736 Spendable BTC... a big WTF from me, too, for obvious reasons.

Thank you in advance for any insight or even a point in the direction of where I should be seeking help if not this forum.
