Quite true but the fact that a project runs an IEO on an exchange doesn't mean it will be successful. Other things like Tokenomics, minimum value product, marketing and publicity matter too. For example, and IEO in Latoken can hardly do better than an IEO at Binance. (no disrespect meant)

Binance or any other exchanges that are selling you these useless tokens do NOT guarantee anything, they are just getting paid by the real token owners (fund raisers) to list their token on their exchange and advertise it to their gullible customers to raise them money and in this process get a hefty fee out of that deal and also get a lot of fee from people dumping that token since it is still an exchange platform and trading costs fees.

Some exchanges will eventually turn out as exit scam. As soon as they receive the intended form, then that is all. Not everyone of them can be trusted. So it is expected of us to only participate in IEOs, particular on exchanges with good background report.

The only difference between IEOs and ICOs is that in IEOs exchanges serves as a medium to help protect investors. Then just as ICOs there are still teams who don't have what it takes to deliver any tangible product but will tend to hide under IEOs to achieve their aims.

in my opinion now scammers have started trying their luck by trying to sell their tokens in the name of the IEO, but most of them certainly sell IEOs on their own websites without using launchpad, but still mention it is an IEO and maybe there is also a new launchpad offering the IEO but it is a scam token.

The IEO is held directly by the token publisher to conclude the Initial Exchange Offerings or IEO are fundraising events managed by trusted exchanges or exchanges. so in my opinion the fraud to the IEO land is quite difficult because it must pass the stages provided by the stock exchange.

This has happened in the ICO so many times, it is not as if all investors who end up getting defrauded by ICO scammers didn’t do their research, they did, just that some of these scammers are quite too smart and research is not even enough again to really determine the quality of the project and how genuine it will be.So, I thought IEO should be able to solve this but the way I am seeing things, they might still be able to penetrate IEO too and still do exactly what genuine investors would do, some of them might even end up creating an exchange themselves for purpose of defrauding investor.

I am agree, if we decide to invest in IEO, we should choose IEO from reputable exchanger. Many IEOs held by exchangers and i think the most safe and profitable is join in big exchanger like binance, bittrex, huobi or others reputable exchangers.

The exchanges conducting the IEO are themselves fraudsters. They force you to buy their tokens at a high price, and you must also keep them for a long time, in order to have a couple of percent chance of being among the investors. This is not for me and I consider it a deception of ordinary people.

As long as these new tokens are launching in a reputable and trusted exchange, investors need not to worry to much, these trusted exchange has their own system to weed out these fake token that will use their platform, an exchange will have to prove first, they are trustworthy enough to hold an IEO.

Some IEOs are getting sold out very fast, which is very good and a sign of trust in crypto. This shows that a number of persons are still willing to invest in an initial offerings, but they are just scared of being scammed. I followed up an IEO which was able to raise some amount of fund. The IEO was sold at $0.03, the team is yet to open trading, already, the token is been traded in a black market in FolkDelta and trading at a very ridiculous price, I advise the team on what to do to save the price, but they are paying a deaf ear. I hope they know what they are doing, and I hope it doesn't end as a scam. One must be careful the exchange they buy IEO from.

Already IEOs will not receive great interest in small exchanges. Most exchanges already started IEO thinking that would make great profit with it. Lets wait little longer, already small ones will not be able to make any profit.

I think scammer are already there! I have been following every IEO in these months and was shocked by seeing how many ICO projects turned into IEOs! So, many of them were bullshit in ICO place and now they are coming into IEOs to ruin its popularity and acceptance! Only noob and greedy people will go for those IEO projects. Smart investors always stick themselves in Binance, Bittrex, Huoi, and other big platforms.

It is another scam game! Majority of the exchanges are copying Binance looking at their success without any actual background verification. The way ICO has lost the credibility, IEO will soon fall into the same place! The major problem with IEO is that, we are putting our trust on the reputation of the exchange and not with the token company which I believe is a big gap!
Every exchange should start making their due diligence process public so that the credibility can be kept intact. I was reading some articles saying that ICO activity is down by more than 90% compared to the last year. While Binance stepped into this turmoil, the picked the chord right! Now the same step is followed by the other exchanges is again going back to the beginning.

there is still the possibility of fake projects using the IEO on one of the Exchange, so we must be vigilant. maybe for a large exchange it will be difficult, but what about the exchange like LAtoken and others. we will never know because many exchanges have a bad reputation.

which bring big impact to the investor I can say the icos are now being alive because of initial exchange offering, but the sad thing if you dont have enough fund you cannot participate like in binance launch pad its require a minimum amount of bnb coin.
The important here is we don't have to use huge money to invest in IEO because we don't know if IEO was a very good program or not.
