I really like the concept of your art, for example in this particular image you created a fantastically ingenious Decentralized Grid inside of a Centralized Grid:

http://photobucket.com/gallery/user/Robertbrooklynpettit/media/cGF0aDovMl96cHNjNzkzYjc0Yy5qcGc=/?ref=

That is amazing. When I stop and stare at your artwork or this particular piece I often envision the large black circles as mega cities and the smaller circles as smaller districts or towns. The long connection points would constitute a combination of autonomous roads, and futuristic light rails that would trans port its denizens from one district or towns to a city and then to a Mega City.

Thanks for checking it out. Your description is one of the ideas I play with in my head for sure. I'm always making more of these. I think I need to make a new thread where the images are presented better.

Have a good one.

Hello all!

Took a few years off from the forum to concentrate on my business. Finally getting some free time again. Looking to sell more art for Coin!

All pieces still available.

Still have this piece on my wall, the brief home of Ross Ulbricht DPR.

How much for the above?
Shipping to UK?

Also, what's the story behind the grids?

Hi there,

currently making a couple, with prices pushing around 1.2 BTC current price, I'm not sure about shipping, I'd have to check.

The grids I've been drawing for about 12 years now. It's a little bit of my view of what life is represented as in an abstract geometric way. That we have all these little events in our lives (the circles) and that the connection of all those events makes up the pattern of what our current life is. Always changing, never the same, one thing leads to another, the more positive events the more positive the life, something like that.

Thanks for asking.

EDIT: If I were to sell any of the Prison work ones, I'd kick Ross's team some of the coin.

Hello,
Nice art Smiley
With what you are drawing the net? With a permanent marker? What is the price you are asking for them? Where do you deliver?

I also hace a series of work I call "Artistic Bail out" I've been selling these little guys here and there. Any of them I sell I send the money straight to Sallie Mea to help pay off my student loans for art school. I only need to sell like 1000 more! haha.

They are bills that I get, torn up, collaged onto 1/4 plywood, burned, sealed.

What do you think?

Could you post a higher resolution image of the last one?  I'd like to see a little more detail.

Thanks Smiley

Yeah for sure. That one is at home right now, these are the only ones I have on my work computer.

The bottom picture is the only one I have right now for that exact one, the top details are from a second drawing in the same style. Ink.

My subject for a few years were cell phones, I still draw them. The grids have been something I've always drawn.

Ill poke around my studio tonight and see what else I got. Have sold plenty of these before on Etsy.

Cheers!
