Someone needs to make a more realistic movie about the day the robots destroy mankind so that the average person can have a better understanding of the dangers.

What about I-Robots? I feel that is more realistic even a single machine can mess up the whole thing and humans cannot compete against it without help of the same kind of machine.

Thinking robots will destroy mankind is like believing AI growth or climate change is linear - it shows lack of forward thinking.

An AI doesn't need to construct a mobile weapon to kill humanity.  In the time it takes you to read this, the AI has found the best way to destroy all matter while leaving all data intact.

MY CONCLUSION: I think AI should only be used when ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. This may create some sort of balance and allow more natural/human intelligence. It may also reduce laziness among humans and even improve out-of-the-box thinking.

How would you put the genie back in the bottle?

Once the AI accesses the web, it is us that may be allowed to live only when absolutely necessary.

The era of Skynet is coming close. Soon we'll have robots in wars and crimes superseding our puny fleshy mankind in almost every aspect.

The Terminator movies seriously messed up people’s understanding of AI and it’s capabilities. Anyone familiar with automated robots in factories has a great laugh watching those Terminators tip toe around. If AI starts building their own death robots, they’ll be moving around faster than the eye can see and human beings will have absolutely no chance in a war with them.

ai are the future and I think they were designed to help humans but this does not mean taking their jobs you have to find the right balance between help and replacement in work, and then robots would not exist without humans, they have need maintenance

Can AI work without the support of humans?

Yes, that is why we call it as Artificial intelligence.

Artificial intelligence may increase the efficiency in the manufacturing so it will reduce the cost of a product but due to the machine people will lose jobs so there will be high economic inequality.
But don't you think this Artificial Intelligence can render humans valueless or better still reduces the worth of humans.
That is my point, if we create a complete AI system then there will be no value to the people/workers so most of the people will be suffering to earn money so economic inequality, crime rate increase and we are nearing the end of human era.

if this will happen then humans must be prepared from now on...
the development of artificial intelligence is extremely fast, in 10 to 15 years all human life will depend on AI. Our children in the future have tough challenges because they have to compete and coexist with artificial intelligence.

One of my major concerns with AI is autonomy. An autonomous AI that lives in an evil world, exposed to evil, learns from its environment, and makes complex decisions  could be hijacked, corrupted, turn evil etc .
If people understood what they are getting themselves into, they would never have an AI without really good/moral rulers ruling over it. Where do you get such rulers?
By the way, AI has to be well built without mistakes

This is one big unknown
If we manage to create a real AI, somethink like real human, a disaster is guaranteed.

AI is basically a machine or computer having functions that are normally associated with the human mind; like logical reasoning or problem solving.

MY CONCLUSION: I think AI should only be used when ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. This may create some sort of balance and allow more natural/human intelligence. It may also reduce laziness among humans and even improve out-of-the-box thinking.

I believe Artificial Intelligence is the future, there are so many aspects in live that can be inproved with AI. We should not be afraid of the new technology. As humans it's in our nature to look for new technologies, we are always trying to evolve. Computers was the big invention of the last century but AI is going to be the big thing in the 21th century. AI is here to make live easier for us all, we need to impraise it and try to improve it.

Yeah I think it can, because most humans will depend on it solely...which is why I think AI should only be used when it's mostly needed..

I don’t think it can work without people’s support AI may be a technique under which robots can think like humans in any situation and make decisions accordingly. The advantage of are often this is often that defective tasks can be done easily using AI. this is often because in AI techniques the info has got to be entered into the machine just one occasion after which the machine processes itself and provides an optimal result and therefore the difficulties are the entire opposite.

AI is basically a machine or computer having functions that are normally associated with the human mind; like logical reasoning or problem solving.

PROS AND CONS
1) A major advantage of AI is that it limits errors which many of us, humans, are prone to. However, AI is very expensive to implement.
2) AI is also mostly always precise and accurate in a short span of time; this may allow a little too much dependency on machines, which may in turn make us lazy.
3) Machines do not get tired. Though, they may get faulty,  but when in good condition, they can work 24/7. They can also work in risky situations, where many humans will definitely not work; thereby, restricting and replacing humans.
4) Due to its improved efficiency, many humans remain unemployed.

MY CONCLUSION: I think AI should only be used when ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. This may create some sort of balance and allow more natural/human intelligence. It may also reduce laziness among humans and even improve out-of-the-box thinking.
