This is only my opinion because I think the contribution starts when we can apply it to ourselves. You will also be considered a contributor even if you can only prevent yourself from posting spam and posting meaningless in forums. Obey the rules and carry out your interests, good luck.
Starting early with a good contribution to the forum and more useful to be a good goal and it must be applied to ourselves. I and you have also experienced burnout when contributing to this forum. Maybe the OP will also experience it later. But believe me, when many contributions are given there will certainly be results that can be obtained. The OP just needs to be patient and try to be a good poster, avoid spamming posts, remember all the rules in this forum.

I think I am too late to start forum posting. But I wish I will do hard work and will contribute by doing something special and helpful.
Why you are pessimistic? It is not too late if you are serious to give contribution to the forum.
Ask yourself, what is your main purpose to be here? If your goal is for contribution, you can do many things.
You can start with what you can do first. No need a big thing, a small thing but useful is no problem. Do you already have a plan for this?

Just a little suggestion.
I think you must be more active and try to post more.
I see you just made 2 posted since you registered in this forum. It is better to improve it.

Hello all senior Members
I am new in this forum and already read the forum rules carefully.I think I am too late to start forum posting. But I wish I will do hard work and will contribute by doing something special and helpful.
I need your advices which is fully your personal opinion.

Always ask yourself first, are you really onto learning or you already wanted to somehow earn money here in forum? If you want to contribute and learn, there is no such thing as late-comers. My personal advice is, if you want to reach high ranks sooner, better use this quarantine time in focusing in studying bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, after that share your ideas with the threads that is posted in the forum. Also, find something unique such as tips and how to guides that isn't yet posted hence that could help other users in here.

For an easier understanding, youtube videos helped me a lot better than reading as some explains how things work.

For the OP, before you consider becoming a useful member of others, it would be better for you to think about how to be a useful member for yourself.
It all starts for yourself before starting a beneficial contribution for other members, understanding and reviewing the basics will help lead you to become a member who adheres to the rules of the forum so as to avoid violating that affect the reputation of your account on this forum, I think some of the new members who started posting on this thread board already know the basic rules for not posting spam, only important for us to direct them towards useful contributions.

It's never too late to start a quality post.
No because the OP just registered their account here "June 01, 2020, 04:46:52 AM" and everything has just begun.

You only need to be active in this forum and get involved in discussions that already exist.
Among the many efforts that must be made by the OP, I agree that being an active member will help him achieve the expected goals i.e. "be a useful and contributing member".

For the OP, before you consider becoming a useful member of others, it would be better for you to think about how to be a useful member for yourself. Example:
  • Forums have rules where each user must post things that are not considered spam, rubbish or anything that violates the rules. Then you should try to maximize your knowledge to find out how to post something quality so that you will get benefits because your posts will not be deleted and you will also be rewarded with merit.

This is only my opinion because I think the contribution starts when we can apply it to ourselves. You will also be considered a contributor even if you can only prevent yourself from posting spam and posting meaningless in forums. Obey the rules and carry out your interests, good luck.

In order to understand and study the forum you would like to move within the forum and work consistent with the principles of the forum you've got to try to research in several places, then you'll learn and gain knowledge about the forum. Posting well and helpful will qualify and increase the rank of your ID We attempt to move forward by following the principles of the forum.

It's easy to say that word so I agree with you that that post is opposite to reality so for that this thread will summarize all and help newbie for their first venture https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/newbies-read-before-posting-1689727 and there are other pinned post on each section so I think it's worth to read by new members here so that they will get a knowledge on what is the first thing they need to do before they focus to rank up their accounts.

It is never too late to leave ignorance, in a way although it may seem like a hard qualification no matter the cultural level or the degree of study you achieve, there is always a topic or something you do not know.

The fact of being here with a user account makes you aware of many things, for example knowing what to do in a forum, the fact of reading the rules of the forum is adding to your learning. I assure you that in your next forum, to which you subscribe to learn, have fun or find something, you will understand that the OP's type of question is only asked when you don't read well.

The newbie ranking only means that you are new to the forum, but that does not mean that you are not initially knowledgeable in bitcoin, some newbies here are as adept when starting as any other rank. But deciphering your OP, which is the key to always make yourself understood and that the recipients of your message can understand your concern, your frustration, your questions, etc. You leave me with little concrete information about what your skills are, to do hard and special work.

Anyway, I hope this message reaches other "newbies" who intend to only launch a post with great force in their words but little action in the result of them.

So finally, never say I read the rules of the forum, as to feel worthy of a prize or the classic I congratulate you, something like kindergarten, btw every time I can review them, one should read them every so often.

Please, sometimes the rudeness of the lack of the exclamation points and in general the grammatical rules can make the message sound that one wants to send, especially for a beginner novice, it can feel desecrated in his idea or in the objective of what he wanted with his OP, I assure you it is not the idea of who we are here, just keep going with "hard work, special and useful."

No you are not too late. Still many people don't know about bitcoin but just think about you that you have already joined worlds largest crypto community "Bitcointalk". So its never late to join anything where hardwork & patience makes the difference.

But I wish I will do hard work and will contribute by doing something special and helpful.

In my opinion as a beginner you just need to spend time by visiting every single section of this forum. I don't like to suggest shortcut ways for learning and for you it will remain same. Just take your time and try to collect knowledge about bitcoin as much as you can. You will get lots of helpful posts in every section and don't forget to read them carefully.

Specially i will sugggest you not to run after bitcoin related investment without enriching your Knowledge vault with enough knowledge's about safer investment and possible scams.

Welcome to this forum Cheesy
Reading the rules and guidelines of this forum is really good for all the beginners of this forum, that is what you should read first before anything else. It is like answering on your exams, you should follow first the instructions given before you answer the questions to avoid mistakes. The instruction is the forum rules that you should read first, and the answers are the things you are going to do with this forum.

If you want to know more about this forum try to use the search engine at the right top corner if ever.
But I wish I will do hard work and will contribute by doing something special and helpful.
I need your advices which is fully your personal opinion.
As a rule of thumb and to keep it simple, write about the stuff that you know thing or two about, or at least about the stuff you have a genuine interest and you are good to go.
Well said, we should know first what is his or her intention of joining this forum so we can be able to give advice on a specific topic, but I think the best advice for the beginner is the basics of this forum.

You could theoretically make it with as little as 775 posts, since the required Activity range is somewhere in between 775-1030 (depending on a hash formula that combines your userId with a secret number), but commonly you will be way above that value in the event.

Regardless, the OP’s real quest here seems to bounty hunting, which normally tends to go down a different path from what is required for Legendries Nowadays.

First, welcome to the forum!
Second, why do you think you are ''too late to start forum posting''?
This is main forum for btc and I'm sure that many more people, bitcoin enthusiasts, will join this forum, so you are not late.
You can only contribute to this forum with what you know, with your personal experience and knowledge.
I suggest you read a lot, try some projects and study about bitcoin and then you will have something to share with others on this forum.

Welcome to the forum and don't say you are late for forum posting as you can start contributing even if you are newbie.
I get what you mean anyway, maybe you are introduce in this forum from someone who makes money from signature campaign or joining bounty.

I would say that everyone has a fair chance to enjoy that kind of privilege but make sure you'll continue to be a valuable member of the forum by contributing and always following the forum rules. Eventually you will rank up and as you rank up, you will be equip with a lot of learning and that's the kind of success you should aim, income will just follow as good members here can easily find an opportunity.

Everyone is welcome here in the forum, and I believe there's no such thing as "late" when it comes to crypto, and even here in the forum. Even though you are new, you can still make contributions, even the simplest one. What I can advise you is to start learning and reading more about cryptocurrency and blockchain if you are also new to it. About the forum, since you have already read the rules, then you can explore here in the forum and be familiarize. You can also learn a lot here by reading informative threads about a certain topic that you don't understand.

I cannot really give you good advice since I'm still also learning. But you can start from the basics, there's a lot of resources online to read, and other members have already made their recommendations on what you can read as a beginner.

I do not recommend newbies to begin with the Bitcoin white paper, it's not a resource for beginners' as it contains lots of technical stuff about the Bitcoin network. More interactive learning is the better alternative imo. YouTube videos and online courses. This forum is also a repository for Bitcoin information, and this can be accessed using the SEARCH option.

~
Maybe this would work for people who has a deep backround in programming, understanding the whitepaper will be quite more difficult to grasp if you do not know how to read basic syntax used in programming language. I myself is having this difficulty  Sad "Mastering bitcoin" is a good resource and I am currently using this as a reference to understand technicalities embedded in the technology. It is useful since the audience of the book is versatile meaning it can be a good resource for programmers and end user.

Would you guys agree that all articles/blogs/forum guide posts/Youtube videos/Online courses about bitcoin also came from the whitepaper? They all contain technical terms too.

It is obvious that newbies cannot understand all of it immediately. He/She can start reading now and then look for other resources that can expound on specific topic written in the WP later.

So you want to learn the technicalities of bitcoin and also price speculation (trading) at the same time? If yes, then my personal advice is to focus on one thing before going to the next. If you start reading the whitepaper and mastering it before doing anything else, you'll most likely do better than most starters

One thing I wish I could have done before is to learn the technology behind bitcoin first. I was already trading and going after money making opportunities with little knowledge about Bitcoin and Blockchain.

Even if you didn't know what is bitcoin or who is satoshi, it doesn't mean you always be a newbie and can't be a senior members. You only need a time to understand this forum, cryptocurrency, etc. I really advise you for read and learn first before start to post, after you have enough knowledge... you can start to post and contribute on this forum.

I think you have a good start, because you have read and understand the forum rules. This is the most important thing IMO, if you didn't aware about the rules... your reputation/journey can be destroyed easily. Anyway, best of luck in your journey!
