Topic: As a newbie how many post are you meant to post per day? (Read 353 times)

Been on here forever and thinking the same thing...trying to launch something but don't want to launch it as a "newbie" even though I am veteran I don't have the amount required. So I am considered a newbie...Lol

Anyways just keep posting organically to things you are interested in and then it will fill up without even realizing it.

Let's not forget that there's no rule restricting a newbie from posting enough as he could per day as log as he can maintain the high quality of posts to offer, but when there's nothing much to discuss about that's as important as making a post or creating a thread for discussion, but on an average, a newbie who is interested in learning should bread more than he post in other for him to grow and have the necessary knowledge and contributions needed to offer, which will help in delivering a quality post.

I go like welcome you again. You see this place na our cabal and na we dey run am. Feel free to share anything wey dey confuse you here and people dey ready to help you explain am. I see say plenty people don answer your question and recommend how to roll for Forum for you but me sef go like drop my own cent. Forum na just like your other social media with just little differences. You can post as many times as you are capable of but make e no be nonsense and off point. Any topic wey you get idea about drop am for dem and if you no get idea waka pass. E better make you also familiar with Forum rules too.

You fit post any amount were you brain fit carry, no limit of posting for this forums, you go just try make you post better thing where go benefit people for the forum,that why dey want make you understand the forum before posting, because make you no go made mistake go posting waiting no dey proper, and dey fit ban your account if you spam, i go advice you make you just dey go deferens board dey see how people dey post and understand everything for the forum, if you are fearing you will never learn anything, just obey the forum rule and you will enjoy it.

Thanks for this topic. As a newbie I have had similar thoughts in my heart; the number of posts per day on individual posts and external posts.

Some old folks here have advised fewer posts daily with an hour interval, while others have advised 2 posts daily within a wider time frame. This information gets confusing sometimes.

But here is my take:

1. Post valuable content and wider intervals and do not spam.

2. Comment on topics within your knowledge to reflect authenticity.

3. Post when you should and not because you want to generate an activity.

That's my take.

If there are channels that lead to more clarifications the old folks here can guide us to it.

With my own understanding, I no think say e get specific amount of post you need make per day, except say that one na your own personal decisions shall, I just feel say you need to read threads, read am to your understanding and post your replies on anyone wey you get better replies too, and make you shall try make your replies be something reasonable, also try to read your own replies too like one or two times before posting so that if your notice any error on your write up, you go fit correct yourself before posting...

When I see this topic I think say I don fail the rules and regulations oh, because I think say I no meet up the number of  post, if say this forum get number of post per day e for worry some how oh and if you no meet up them fit fine you, thank God say you fit post plenty as you like but reasonable posts oh.

Nothing to fear, wetin they be say me I dey think the reason why you they fear to post or comment on some thread is because you are still a newcomer, and you never get the required knowledge of some discussion that is taking place in those thread, so wetin me I go like make you do be say, if you say thread and you don't know what to say you can read what the op said and read other comments wey people don drop for there, you sef go understand and you go know what they thread is talking about.
However just make sure say wetin you wan write they meaningful and make e no be wetin another person don talk about, make you try bring you own idea. You no go get issue and your post go be counted.

Well if you had noticed when you are new to the forum you are usually meet with some restrictions on your post timing meaning that as at that rank you are still learning and high chances that you post bursting would lead to spamming. I respect that restriction and I believe it's accurate, but that restriction aside, if I were to advice newbies about posting I would place it to what to timing but the content of the post itself, I would urge newbies to always review the content of their post and check if it is worth posting before dropping it.

We posts daily, some are deleted while some are merited simply because they suits the purpose of the forum members. However as a newbie, there are numerous essential things to learn about the forum, it's not competition but consistency matters alot. I was in your shoes once, it's not panic but the real facts about the forum, if your posts doesn't make sense or serve good purposes, it would be automatically deleted or locked by moderators because they prohibits such here. There's no limit to post as long as the posts are all constructive and served good contributions to the forum.

There is no limit of post that should be done by a newbie. If it is possible for you to post 20 posts,that wouldn't be a problem. The problem is when your posts are off topic and it is one or two sentence,that can be seen as spamming. As long as you have the knowledge of the topic,you are free to also make your own contributions. We have several boards that might be of your interest,feel free to post their or make comments there. My advice is that as a newbie read more of other forum members post and learn from them,another thing is that don't post on topic that you don't know what to say or that you gat no idea on. Because even we self,sometimes we dey find am difficult to post. Post less and read more.

To me I feel say e no really get a limit for posts in a day, the thing you need to do be say, just try to read thread and get understanding first before you reply so that your replies go get meaning and match with the said topics, and also avoid to copy wetin person don first reply, if possible sef try to read people replies before you go reply your own just to make sure your replies no go dey thesame with their own...

Just make as much post as you can, but just make sure your post are meaningful and understandable for reading..

Well for me I no see any limit to post per day oh is just that nah when you enter campaign and e get some wey go say you must post at least a max of 5 post per day, and if you post pass nah you and the manager go know if nah you be manager or nah him, hope I correct for this one oh because nah wetin I see for some instructions for some campaign.

Yeah.. thank you as you follow me yan here because I know say as beginner even though I post 1 to 4 post per day is appreciated and okay for my account since I don't have something much doing so I just dey read here to see things for myself. If too post e go be like say e get waiting I dey rush for and me wan avoid any form of rush and max post if not then go see am as spam the forum so like that dey okay.

I would love to say as the spirit leads, but that may be too excessive. How much time you got may be determinant to how much post you can make.

If you can think any type as fast and multitask with anything you are doing, you could also make many post.
What's important is quality firstly, then we talk about the threads you are allowed to make post on and being able to abide by post rules and regulations.

Between 3-6posts per day should be just fine incase there's time and promised quality in content and context.

There's no limit as long as you're able to maintain a quality delivery in whatever thing you're posting about on the forum, the quality is what matters most such that it will contain what others can learn from and be benefited, you should also know that in doing this, it will take you more time to discover about something, understand it and then typed it and post, then you move on to another aspect and do same, i believe you wouldn't want to stay on the forum all day long everyday, this are what can limit the extent to what you can post per day if truly you want to deliver upto expectations.

The forum can be anything you want it to be, get yourself familiar with the buttons and rules, find the board suitable for you and make your grounds, if you post real good merits will locate you but don't push it, allow it to come to you naturally. There is no limitation or adding a quota to the number of post a newbie is supposed to make in a day. The closest you could get to a limitation is having your post frequency paused if the system feels your posting too fast. That's because, as a newbie, your usually not expected to know a lot buy a few might and even at that, you just might not be very familiar with the forum rules of which, spamming is an offence. This delay is some means to put a check on that.

Other than this, your welcome to post wherever you've got ideas. Places where your not allowed to post, you wouldn't have the reply icon or quote icon avaliable for you. Places like the Ivory Tower in serious discussion.

In as much that you’re still a newbie and is really interested in the forum to learn very fast, you don’t need to rush things too much before you find yourself violating forum rules. As a newbie, any board you can see the reply link button available for you, you can post there if not you can’t post in such boards.

As a newbie, you’ll have a limitation between the time you make a post consecutively after the other, it lasts for 360 seconds (6 mins) but will continue to reduce over time until there’s no such limitations on your account again. Even with that time restriction between posts, you can make as many posts as possible but make sure you don’t spam the forum with low quality posts and comments to avoid been penalized.

The length of time you give in to the forum will determine how fast you are learning, that's if you are reading quite a lot, it will also determine the number of posts you may be capable to make per day. You can make as many posts as you want, as long as those posts are not some kind of meaningless shitpost. You don't need to be afraid to make a post when you really need to. In my newbie days, I think my strength was only able to carry me for a maximum of 10 posts per day, which was not so frequent; some days I did five or even nothing. Just do any amount of post you can be able to do per day, but let them not be shit post, plagerised post and AI generated post.

You can post as many as you can, but if they are not spam and low quality posts because low quality posts and spams are often deleted, which can even lead to temporarily ban.

Do not plagiarize as it can lead to permanent ban. Read the forum rules very well and do not violate it.

Newbies can not post on Archival, Serious discussion and Ivory tower.

I think there are boards with posting restrictions for newbies. There is a particular board here were thymos himself placed restrictions on preventing newbies from posting. I head about a loan board here where newbies are also restricted from posting as well because they have no collateral or their rank does not qualify them to.

Obob any post or thread wey you feel say you get something to yarn nor fear to drop your two cents for there, this na discussion forum we dey and na our work to discuss any topic wey dey ground. You fit make as many posts as you can, there nor get any rule way dey restrict newbie account from making 20-30 posts per day. The only advice I go give you na say make you do the one your power reach, the day you nor see body post leave am for another time nor put yourself under pressure. Na quality matter pass quantity.

I think as a beginner there are some certain places your aren't supposed to post, then you can only be posting at least 4 within the interproximal space of 40 minutes to 1hrs there are about in my opinion but as someone who was introduced here I will just advise you to be reading post around here for like a week or 2 weeks for you to be able to understand how the forum works and lots of things. Except few board, I think you are permitted post everywhere maybe few people here might list those board for you.

Based on my title and, I am curious to know how many post as newbie are required to post in the forum because I was put so much fear not to post randomly or carelessly. I am just weak and tired of not knowing how to go with my post, I have been seeing some post and thread which I feels commenting but due to the fear I have not gotten that courage to continue much with my post.
I know I have strong family here and they'll be willing to put me true if I am going the wrong way.
