The reason why we no fit keep am for mind is that the thing wey our government don do us for this country so far dey pain us and e dey for some people mind always, that's why even if we go outside the country we dey rate our country so bad, even light we don't use to have light 24/7 see scarcity of everything.
Na for this forum I see say Naija nor dey carry last. You nor fit call 10 top users for this forum wey one Naijaman nor go dey. Of all the 54 African nations wey dey na only Naija wey dey active pass for this forum. Nor be say we dey actually sell we self short sha, the tin be say we grow up for country wey dem nor teach us about national pride. The only thin wey dem teach us na national criticism. The only time we see national pride na when another country wan try insult us. Dem need to get programs wey so resensitize us about national pride and to stop talking down on ourselves.
Well it's a thing expected from every citizen of a country as part of civil obligation to in all situations market your home country in good light but this also come into play if the government of your country is playing their own constitutional roles as it ought to in providing the citizens with necessary needs of life ( such as social amenities, infrastructures, security and social justice), all these and more is what builds up patriotic spirit towards the country from the citizens.
Else you don't expect the citizens to be proud of a country whose leadership is not giving them reasons to be proud, rather it's a thing of one suffering to another on daily basis. I beg to differ, you may see this as a positive character that we have, imo it tells the world that we are sufferable people like the children of Israel who were liberated and still were chastising Moses on the road to Canaan and wanted to go back to Pharaoh. They were used to the suffering, they were born in it and understood whips and grain as punishment and reward. I can say the same is for us, if there is 24hr power supply for two days straight in some parts right now, I guarantee there will be a level of unrest among its residents because they do not understand or experienced having electricity for over 10 hours in a day.

Yes naija Dey bad in terms of many things most importantly good governance but this one no mean say we go Dey bad mouth everything about we country.
