If you want something that is SHIPPING and so you are not in the back of the line for a preorder that is still months away then ANTMINER is the stuff to buy hands down.

When comparing anything consider this:

Take any given X preorder, add 1-4months to estimated shipping time.  Run some calcs.  (remember KnC is regarded as the only company to deliver "on time" and they were over 30 days late)

Now take the same investment, calculate buying ANTMiners shipped today (1.9BTC per 200GH, probably less after CNY) and you will very quickly see what the real deal is...

The problem is with the network growing 20-30% every 12 days hashing power is worth much more NOW rather than 2-3 months from now.  Makes it worth spending 2-4x more to get it in hand immediately...

Just my $0.02 of course!

Mining.thegenesisblock.com

Look down!!!

even that noble organ has some wrong'uns, as it relies on us lot to update it.

Thanks Augusto. Is there anywhere that lists real ASIC manufacturers vs SCAM sites? Would be a great resource because the ratio isn't very healthy.

in short, no, not that I know of.

in practice, there were two useful threads until a few weeks ago, the scam list: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/the-scam-list-366659 , but this has not been updated;

and the newbie guide to asic vendors https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/newbie-guide-to-asic-vendors-403459 which has a slightly different intent.

a great web resource is http://bitcoinscammers.com/ which shows some of the latest scams

and nothing really takes account of the new wave of avalon clones and bitmine chip machine makers, some of which are real, and some scams

so there is something for someone to do (hint)

Is anyone maintaining a wiki, forum thread, or similar page that provides news, and comparisons for the latest Bitcoin mining hardware.

It seems that finding serious mining options requires hours of random culling through forums and google searches.

Has to be a better way.
