On May 16, I met Giorgi Cherkhezishvili, Georgian Deputy Minister of the Economy in charge of Environment and Energy, to talk about Mining. This meeting was part of the international study that does Bigblock for a year: The active search for different production sites with optimal operating conditions, with the idea of offering a welcome to all "small" miners who wish.
In fact, non-professional miners who have equipped themselves with Asics encounter operational difficulties, between heat and noise. In addition, the fall in the price has made the mining punctually unprofitable in a large part of the world (everywhere where the kWh exceeds 13cts, everywhere in Europe), many machines are today at a standstill, waiting for a new pump ; we are more and more requested to host these materials and this will intensify if the course remains in this bearish tunnel for a few more months.
This is the game of the giants of the sector, this situation makes them too dominant; By allowing everyone to continue to operate their equipment with a cheap kWh, BigBlock wants to offer a way out for "small" miners and fit into its decentralized vision of mining.
It's now possible, BigBlock offers different hosting solutions for its partners for the S9 or T1, immediately, with a kWh at 5 cents, and launches a major collection campaign:
Each one sends his machines, whether he has 100 or only one, to our farm in Nantes, France; we take care of the grouping, the transport and the customs clearance of the machines towards the place of exploitation chosen with the customer (Siberia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, according to opportunities of the moment and profile client); we do not take any costs of first installation, everything is ready to connect the machines upon receipt. We take our fees as in our French operation, the economic model is the same. Of course, we also offer new equipment for sale to install on these sites, new miners are welcome, we have 30MW still available on 3 different sites.
