Yesterday, as I was hanging out with one of my girls, I casually checked in on BTC Guild to make sure things were running smoothly at home when I realised something bad was going on. So this morning I not-so-casually raced home through the London morning commute, surprising my housemates at breakfast, and found that my
Anker Uspeed 10-port USB 3 hub was on the fritz. It wasn't completely dead: there were short-lived flickers of light but, and I could run one USB erupter for a while but after a minute or so that too stopped working.
Right now I have two erupters plugged in to the existing ports, instead of my usual nine. I have ordered a new USB-hub of the same make, so I should be up and running again tomorrow.
Has anybody else had any problem with this hub? Is it not suitable to run 24/7 like this?
