Always search before doing business with a company doesn't matter if its bitcoin or not.  If its not a heard of big company I don't send money till I take a look around the web on them.

This is the internet and scammers or all types loves this environment of pseudo anonymity and varying degrees of difficulty in doing anything about it if you are scammed.

Example in regular money a buy X from company a with a nice website without looking around online and never receive X I can file a chargeback but if company a also just collected my card info to use its gonna be a whole lot more trouble then 1 chargeback and most likely since they are in bum fuk Egypt I wont have any legal recourse against them.

Wow glad I google a company before buying was rather curious

KNC, BFL, HF, CT, AValon are real but just because they're real, doesn't mean they'll deliver on time or even deliver at all.

That's why googling for a ASIC company before buying would be a good idea. If I were to google BFL, I would see a shit ton of "I got my miner after 7 months. It mines about 4$ worth of bitcoins daily now. Yay!"

Just sayin'

How so many? Cause the world is full of greedy and stupid people.

If people actually did any research at all before ordering, they would've seen this thread telling them that it is a scam.

Wow.. he has some nerve to reply to to you like that.

It is sad to me that people don't do their research on companies before buying. As it now stands, this scam has collected over 200 Bitcoins. That is just crazy..

Think before you spend people.. (although I doubt most of the scammed people use these forums, otherwise they'd most likely see this thread before ordering.)

Hot damn, even I almost fell for it
A friend wanted to buy some USB mining sticks for the heck of it, and that site was pretty much the first result on google. I wouldnt have fallen for fake presales of custom asics, but as a reseller of asicminer or bitfury usb sticks (the page I ended up on),  its not that difficult to get fooled - at least until you see they expect to send bitcons to a static address.

The scam is also working. They use 2 different addresses for all their "orders":

https://blockchain.info/address/1ibY2cWoEYFVM2bRXaNVm2brBD1uvrjUg
118.4 BTC

https://blockchain.info/address/1GW68rAn3h5nvwJeM4PNG4GHK2n277cpqa
64.5 BTC

Total of 182 BTC so far. Not bad for a scamsite that takes an hour to put together.

I tried to pay them twice with PayPal and both times payment went through and they complained that there was some issue though with PayPal, when they actually used some demo paypal accounts, I believe for starters.

They kept blaming having issues with PayPal.

Second time after they cashed the money through PayPal, put a tracking number "00000000" and nothing came. I called them and they assured me there was an issue with PayPal and a refund is being processed. PayPal put the refund on pending for 7 days, to discover there were not enough funds in their account to cover. PayPal refunded me again.

(Thanks PayPal!!!)

Ever since they only accept BTC payment or bank transfer....

They even offered me discounted price, instead of $3000 to pay 7 BTC. I said through escrow service. They said at least 2BTC (for shipping) and 5 through escrow. I paid them nothing when I saw refund was not covered.... otherwise they were happy even with 2btc for a few days of communication with me...

Btw, their private phone# was +447934839575, email: [email protected].

It has to be a scam 100%!!

Cheers

See this is precisely why we need secured payment methods for pre-orders. This has always been an obvious scam, but the uninitiated need protection from themselves...

Wow... If the guy running that business gets hostile about scam accusations while the evidence is surely there, it usually means the evidence was true, and he's mad about his cover being blown...

Firstly allow me to say a big thanks to bitcointalk forum . . branding our company a scam after the site was only online 12 hours with no sales . I just spend 9 months busting my balls , pushing every penny I had into this project , for some wee N00b to come along and start talking complete and utter rubbish based on no evidence at all . We done no advertising really because Chris my partner is on holiday at the moment , The site is not even complete . . . just a template I put up before taking a well needed sleep . If you think this site is a scam , I don’t even care . Leave now .WE DONT EVEN HAVE PICTURES UP YET . . . This is a 4 man project . Relax , give us some time .We currently have 21 small’s and 5 large units . Working on more . Thank you to the users who had faith and paid via paypal.Shipping will be tomorrow,I will also remove this rant when I am less angry . You wanna know how to build ASIC . . . Dont sit around chatting crap on bitcointalk , Learn Something New !!

And if you ELA their images they appear to be manipulated.

hahahah, My mum could of done a better job with MS paint.

32 shares in 10minutes could be believable only if they changed(photoshopped) the diff from 1 to say 128++

It is odd how they only got 32 shares in 10 minutes with a 9.3 GH/s rig. Also, i didn't notice the at 0 photoshopping. Good find! Another "ASIC Comapny" scam to go down in the books.

I ran across this company in my inbox. Don't know how I got it or where they got my email from. Pulled it up and they offer escrow. 30BTC for a ~9.5 GH/s rig is pretty hefty though.
