It's pretty simple - the batch file the OP posted is mostly correct.  He just needed to move to BFG 3.6.0, remove the --disable-gpu as it isn't needed, as there is no GPU support any more on pre-compiled versions.  Only the Win32 version has the proxy, which you can run on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows.  I suspect he was using the Win64 version of BFG which would be the issue.

Also you need to use a unique username for each blade connecting to the BFG proxy.  They can be anything, doesn't matter, as long as they're unique.

he used the proxy. I will post a how to in a day or so with pictures. Ive been using the proxy with no issues.

I am definitely interested in seeing how to set these up.

Its real easy. i got a cube and some blades on the way i will make a video how to set them up.

Please do, that would be very helpful   Smiley

guys someone has helped me with this thank you so much btc comunity

Why not post the solution so others can learn from your plight?

Did you get USB working?  Did you setup via web interface and install proxy somewhere?  Inquiring minds...

my understanding is that you dont need usb connection. just connect power and ethernet, then configure everything via the webUI address

that makes it confusing...

here is a simple zip file with everything you need just need to run the file.

http://mining.bitcoin.cz/mining-proxy-howto
I hate that proxy, I had to many problems keeping it running correctly.

I dont see how running bfgminer can be confusing, in fact the OP had the correct commands in his batch, just did not need the "-S all".

More than likely is that the batch file does not have the proper path to the working directory which causes the window to close right after opening.

I run the bfgminer on my laptop (a backup proxy) as the second IP in my blade configs so that if I am working on the first proxy machine (a scrypt miner) and something happens to it (bfgminer crashes or whatever), the blades connect to the laptop and keep on mining.

the cubs run just like the blades and need the gatework to startum proxy to be ran... As of right now they are having issues still with USB support.
Was this in response to my post?

If yes, then that is why I have "-S noauto" and the "--http-port 8332".  This is for proxy use to the stratum server pool only.

The usb port on the cubes are for debugging and firmware updates, they are not for mining, you have to use the ethernet port for mining connectivity.

if someone could please please please please help me set one of these up

I have it all powered and conected to modem but I do not know what to type into all the fields on the 192.168.1.254:8000 page for the cube

I use bfg miner and have the same port in twice like I should have port 8330,8330

and my batch file is as follows:

bfgminer.exe -o stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 -u xxxxxx -p xxxxxxx --disable-gpu -S all --http-port 8330

bfg starts up and closes straight aaway

any help would be apreciated mates

I will give a small donation to the person who helps me out
Hope this helps.
You need to find out why bfgminer is closing straight away.  You can find out by opening a command prompt window and running the batch file in the window. ( windows key+R, in popup type "cmd" without the "", then change directory to where your bfgminer is at.  Once there, run the batch file. Any errors or bfgminer closes, the command window will stay open)

Just in case, here is my batch file contents:

C:\bfgminer-3.5.2-win32\bfgminer -G --http-port 8332 -Q 45 -s 50 -E 60 -S noauto -o stratum+tcp://stratum.mining.eligius.st:3334 -O btc-address -o stratum+tcp://mint.bitminter.com:3333 -O username

The "-G" tells bfgminer not to use the GPUs
The "-Q, -s, -E" are queue size, scantime, expiry
The "-S noauto" stop bfgminer from scanning com ports (I am only using the proxy function of bfgminer)
I have two server entries for backup purposes.  Starts with eligius

You can just use a ASICMiner Blade setup tutorial from what I can tell to set it up. I don't have a blade so more detailed help from me isn't going to be accurate.
