On the first transaction I waited for friedcat to verify he had enough shares. On the second transaction I just sent the money after verifying the signature on the contract.
Was very smooth.
I would just add that I purchased a from eb3full without escrow. He simply created a contract and emailed it to friedcat with a deadline for payment to be sent to a certain address.
