Namecheap lately doesn't give a damn about scams!
Unfortunately, you're right and it's very annoying!
- They've been rejecting or ignoring most of my reports recently.

Easy $? I don't have an archived version of their shop but at that time they were definitely selling well below 10-20% of what Bitmain was charging and they were sold out, so probably something like 3000$ for a miner that could be sold easily for 4k the same day even here at that time, and later on for much more.

Besides, it's easier to launch yourself in such deals when you're not actually purchasing them with your own money, a fake impression of security.
You have a point but it's way too risky [such scams are inevitable] and it perfectly highlights how irresponsible the seller [wannabe reseller] in question was.

To both victims:

  • I'd suggest looking out for all of the sellers that use the above image in their product listings [there "might" be a connection]:
    • Here are a few [archived versions]:
      • #1 [posted yesterday]
      • #2 [no longer exists]

I wanted to see the prices they claim they have, opened the site, and the Namecheap logo was on, I was so happy, they've suspended the domain, only to realize a few seconds later it is just expired...Namecheap lately doesn't give a damn about scams!

it happens to me folks now Sad
what I do now?
I create a simple website and try to resell China alibaba stuff.

Why would you try to sell a product that's not in your possession?
- It doesn't make sense.

I've seen scammers advertising S19pro for 4k while the legit store had them for 12k for 3 months delivery.

I create a simple website and try to resell China alibaba stuff.
I had 3 customers so far 2 I delivery gpu but the last one paid for asic miners 7500 USD, then I earn 10% so I cut this for me and the rest I bought this from the supplier in China.
I paid as well my customer btc, now 12 days and China guy not answering, I contacted Coinbase to help me but they said I have to manage this with seller 'china guy'
They seems like to shut down and me I am now in debt against my customer who wants of course his money back Sad
You took the risk and also made the mistake by your own. Why didn't your research properly before ordering something from that website. If i am not wrong then they took your attention by giving discounts on their product. Its a old ecommerce trick to attract customers with big amount of discounts. You have already mentioned that you have your own website and by that your are running your resell business in your local area.

Don't you think you have taken extra amountof risks with customers fund?

what to do ? can coinbase reverse the money I have paid to china guy so I can refund my client?
Sorry to say that Coinbase have nothing to do with this matter.

Just to be clear, you're saying they have a store on Alibaba as well?
- You might want to include a link to their store.

what to do ?
You have no other choice but to refund [from your own pocket] your customer.

can coinbase reverse the money I have paid to china guy so I can refund my client?
They can't [it's irreversible] and there's little to no chance that the amount in question, is still in Coinbase [unfortunately].

Their company is not real, they claim to have a US address so I checked to see if such company is registered, but no there isn't. Their telephone number is also fake, they don't answer.

The location is a rental office building, a lot of fake companies use them so you can't get a look at google maps and say for certain their office is not there or that a different company is located there, as for the phone probably bought number also, it doesn't make sense for a company in California to have an Arkansas phone code.

But apart from that, S19Pro in stock, and over one hundred of them, shipping right now cheaper then Bitmain? That's a better indicator you should avoid them altogether.
When legit stores only take preorders for September of even December deliveries and they start at 3000, then what these guys offer is certainly too good to be true.

I also found another strange thing, the Antminer Z15 had a picture of boxes as if it was a delivery, I image searched the picture and found out it is from a serbian marketplace site, they stole the picture from there to look more legit here is the link for the stolen picture: https://www.svastara.rs/oglas/elektronika/racunari/razni-hardveri/bitmain-antminer-z11-135ksol-s-asic-miner-psu-1448487

Nice catch, those are not even z15, they are z11.

I just made a short visit to their website and they have used a common ecommerce script to create their website. Their checkout system will not redirect you to any payment page until you get register there. I haven't got any crypto payment option on their site and sorry to say that i don't think any one gonna buy mining equipment from an website like this. Maybe they are in early stage and you found them.

Here is their complete domain details,

Code:

What hapened: Crypto mining equipment SCAM

I want to tell you about this SCAM website that "sells" crypto mining equipment, but is actually trying to steal your money. The website is asicminers.shop and and they registered their domain in less than a month ago here is the whois data:

Domain:
asicminers.shop

Registrar:
Namecheap, Inc.

Registered On:
2020-07-10

Their company is not real, they claim to have a US address so I checked to see if such company is registered, but no there isn't. Their telephone number is also fake, they don't answer.

The only payment method in the asicminers' website is with cryptocurrency, they madea website for fraud, don't believe them people!
