That ideas is very feasible and can be done and somehow some apps have already made it. But there is a major disadvantage on the usage of cellphones since it can be easily attacked and intercepted rendering your transactions vulnerable from attacks. And so even if it is good to make use of such applications but let us also consider the security factor. If in case the security can be increased then that will be the time that your idea will come into reality.

Technically you could use a modification of the Bitcoin code, and instead, use messages instead of an encrypted store of value. But honestly, an encryption method like SHA512 our the like is in essence just as secure, since you have no need for a publicly viewable ledger out decentralised network.

YES. Cellphone encryption is already stronger than the non-existent encryption in the blockchain. Therefore, it is not only possible to "make high speed cellphone encryption that is as strong as the Bitcoin blockchain", it is also possible to make high speed cellphone encryption that is MUCH STRONGER than the Bitcoin blockchain encryption. It has already been done on all modern cell phones.

You are spreading bad information. What you say may be true, in regards to direct phone calls, that is using your phone in the traditional form. Whatsapp, Signal, and Imessage from Apple, use a whole different way of encrypting, and they are immune to the attacks you describe above. Please don't scare and confuse people.

Cellphone needs voice encryption. So, cell phones operate on stream cipher (bit by bit encryption technique). Currently, in Europe and USA, cellphones use A5 encryption standard for encryption over the air... The problem is it is no more secure. Many attacks have been reported and published. So, we can't say there will be a quick solution.

What you are asking for is already done in different ways. There are many ways to communicate using encryption, either through your computer, or your Smartphone.

WhatsApp and Signal both use 256 bit AES encryption to secure text and voice communications, as long, both parties are using a version of the apps that support it.

As far as using encryption to communicate on your computer, look up Public Key Cryptography, and you should get a lot of hits.

On a note about using Asic chips for encryption, that is, using Chinese chips for encryption that are not owned by an American or European company is a big NO NO, at least at this point in time. This could change in the future.

I have no idea if something like that is possible, with enough work chances are someone could make it but there are enough services that are used already by people that satisfy their requirements that I don't know if it would be worth developing a new encryption based around ASICs and how they operate.

As for high-speed encryption, you might as well just go with conventional methods if you really worry.

That I know of, we don't presently have any choice but to use the standard, conventional systems. That was part of the reason why I posted... to find out if there was anything better coming along.

Lots of people would like encryption privacy if they could get it cheaply, and if it were practical in all the important ways. They simply don't know how easy it is to "crack" a call, and listen in - with the right equipment, of course.

With a lower voice... who cares what Government thinks. If people cared, we wouldn't have Bitcoin. Bypass Government whether they like it or not. After all, Government is simply a bunch of other people who claim that they are protecting us with the things that they do, but are really trying to screw us so that they make more money. Since Government is other people, we have just as much right as they.

Standard cellphone encryption is breakable. If your phone-talk message is intercepted, it is garbled. But the right kind of equipment can crack it and make it understandable.

Using blockchain/PGP type of encryption, the garbled/encrypted message would not be crackable. ASICs are fast enough that they could make it real-time encryption, as you talked.
