While alcohol has its problems, it is not illegal.

By selling this, the OP is promoting substance abuse and endangering himself and the buyer in terms of law enforcement intervention.
This will not get past any border control/customs that has half a brain, leaving the buyer out of pocket and with no product.

And you wonder why some people think bitcoins are dodgy?

I know alcohol isn't illegal, just pointing out double standards. "E" kills 2 people a year in the UK and makes headlines, whilst alcohol kills thousands and destroys the lives of many thousands of others, and costs the NHS in the UK billions of pounds.

Why pick on a few seeds? Other more obvious evils are out there.

I'm sorry but your have your facts wrong.

Seeds cannot be accurately classified as an addictive controlled substance. There is too little THC or CBD (controlled substance) in a seed for it to be classified as addictive. There may be trace amounts of morphine in my poppy seed rolls but my baker doesn't promote substance abuse.

A seed is the starting point for all life on earth. You started life as a seed in your fathers testicles (the word sperm is derived from the Greek word σπέρμα or sperma meaning "seed").

Cannabis seeds are legal to possess, collect, buy, sell, trade etc. in many countries of the world. It is LEGAL to buy seeds in Spain, as it is in Ireland, England, Scotland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Russia, Italy, Canada, Japan and so on. The possesion or sale of hemp seeds in these countries is not a crime (1961 Vienna Convention). Border control cannot confiscate something which is classified legal in its home country.

OP is not promoting substance abuse and it would be foolish to suggest so. OP is not condoning the use of cannabis. Germination of cannabis seeds is a completely different matter and OP would in no way encourage anyone to germinate seeds in a country in which it is unlawful to do so. It is unhelpful at best when people who haven't done their research make sweeping generalisations based on their own predjudices.

OP please reinstate your post. Providing you are shipping only to countries where possesion of cannabis seeds is legal then there is no problem here. One could argue that the preservation of genetic specimens for future generations is doing some good for this crazy world we inhabit. Some forward thinking governments are doing all they can to encourage this...

Currently 13,500 individual cannabis seeds stored...

I shouldn't have to spend a penny to do good in the world. You're basically greedy and want to make quick money on an addictive controlled substance.

Instead of being one of the people who gives bitcoin its previously dodgy reputation, prove to the world that bitcoins are a force for good, not bad.

I am not going to give you £200 to burn some seeds... I'd rather contact law enforcement and they can chase you down.

lol. And supermarkets selling whisky aren't doing exactly the same thing?

You want me to pay 200 pounds for you to burn these seeds?
I don't think so.
You should destroy them for the sake of feeling like you have done the world a good deed, stopping people from getting addictions, possibly saving lives!

I'm not going to pay you, the best you can do is hand these into police and ask for a reward, but you must be seriously greedy to do that.

Alcohol is addictive, kills, and is perfectly legal. Let's have the same standards for all drugs.

@above

Even if it is legal, if he dispatches these to a country which doesn't allow them or at least the import of them, they will be withheld at customs and possibly traced back to the sender for attempting to export controlled substances.

This is where bitcoins get their bad name from, why can't the OP sell some legit goods instead of dodgy ones which could be illegal?

These are a type of drug seed, they are illegal in many countries and will not get past customs.
I recommend you destroy these or turn them into law enforcement, and stop breaking the law.
From where you know he is not from country which allowed using/growing that kind of weed?
