Almost "ALL" mining hardware has become exclusive and very illusive!
The actual issue is the profiteers. raising prices only because they have a use in  crypto mining.
I went to newegg and the price was 299$

A supplier that I know has connections to ASRock Taiwan company, they say that its mainly due to H81 chips shortage. There will be a new H110 chipset update coming for these boards, timing unknown.

I don't get it can't they just manufacture a new batch of these? A month ago the main local distributor of PC parts here received a large shipment of these and they disappeared within half a day. People were coming out of the store carrying 3-5 of these. It's crazy why won't they just make more? They'll make a killing no matter how many they manufacture they'll all be bought out.

1. Because they are old, outdated 1150 boards. As a matter of fact the H81 chipset is the lowest end of all the 1150 boards.
2. Its becoming very hard to even find 1150 chips new anymore.
3. They have not been in production for a long time and they would have to retool an entire production line for some old, outdated boards.
4. There are plenty of boards out there to mine on besides these, ones that are still in production.

I mean it seems pretty obvious why they dont make them anymore.
