Im using the wifi slot and the top (near cpu) m.2 for ssd but i would imagine it would run another card from there. Just make aure you use a good adaptor. Both of the lattcure ones ive used have worked no problems.

Yea the 7th gpu is running from a Lattcure M.2 adaptor (1x slot, not a usb type).
I have a X370 Killer returning from RMA, It's good to know that it can deal with 7 GPUs. Did you tried to run with the 2 another M.2? It has 3 (the non-Wifi/AC version).

So Ive just transferred all my gpus, 1x MSI 1050ti (to run the screen) and 6x Evga 1070tis over to my new Ryzen 1700x rig. Only trouble is that only 3 gpus are being detected. 2x1070tis and the 1050ti.

I looked thoroughly through the UEFI and found nothing about PCIe gen speeds or 4g decoding. So couldnt change any of those settings.

System details:-

Ryzen 7 1700x
Asrock SLI Killer X370 mobo
Corsair vengeance 2x 8GB
1500w HP Common Slot PSU using Sidehacks breakout board
1x MSI Aero ITX 1050ti (directly plugged into 16x slot)
6x Evga 1070ti Black Edition (running from ver010c risers)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Did you connected the 7th GPU through M2/PCI-E conversor?

Thanks for the suggestion. I havent trued it as a clean install of the drivers has worked. Not sure why it took a clean install of them as its running exactly the same driver as the 1050ti which was working fine.

Evenin!

So in bios go to advance settings then  North bridge configuration and click  IOMMU  and enable it.

Hope it works out for you  Smiley
