Worked! Mining mode + CSD.
Sidenote: when booting from USB it needs to be 2.0

bios settings, make sure CSM launch manager is on or something like that. default settings end up with a black screen. ie mining mode.
Trying to set up B250 mining expert. Got 6 1070ti cards and when connected to section C power board and cards work fine. But when cards are in section A I get black screen after bios post, no booting. Any clues?
