I'd leave out the 1070tis.  I've only seen higher wattage values for lesser hashing on forums.  Can anyone else confirm?
what coin algorithm you mine?. I know 1070'tis excellent on algorithm NeoScrypt. you have the problem with wattage, compared to what type of GPU.

Like I said, I don't have any data to back that up personally.  Looking at this page though, it seems like I am incorrect:

Here's some data from my rig (Equihash):

MSI Aero GeForce GTX 1070 -> 58C  Sol/s: 424.0  Sol/W: 3.82  Avg: 438.5
EVGA Hybrid GTX 1070 -> 34C  Sol/s: 440.3  Sol/W: 3.95  Avg: 436.5
ZOTAC  GeForce GTX 1070 Ti mini -> 48C  Sol/s: 489.3  Sol/W: 3.92  Avg: 489.3

I like the ZOTAC  GeForce GTX 1070 Ti mini for the efficency, but it cost at least 100euro more than the MSI.

heard about it too, sometimes a 1070 even outperforms a 1070ti, but probably also depending on system / algo. However the ti for sure got the higher resell value in the future. But the Asus 1070 would be the same price as the TI version to buy. Or go with the cheapest and take the MSI GEFORCE GTX 1070 8 GB

unfortunately evga is not really available here also zotac, so I'm kinda stuck with those 3 brands. But asus / msi prefered over gigabyte?
I have a few series of those 3 brands, R9 (290, 290x, 390, 390x, RX 400, RX500) and only 2 NVIDIA card (1060) if I referring to my personal experience. Yes, I vote Asus or MSI from those 3 brands (ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI).

so would be left:

ASUS ROG-STRIX-GTX1070TI-A8G GAMING:        655,67
ASUS DUAL-GTX1070-O8G:                               652,65
ASUS STRIX GEFORCE GTX 1070 8 GB                  651,90

MSI GEFORCE GTX 1080 8 GB                           717,15
MSI GTX 1070 TI ARMOR 8G                              661,12

Think I pass on 1080 and go either with MSI GTX 1070ti or the Asus Rog Strix 1070ti, what would you choose? Asus Dual got a lot of issues according to some forums and 1070ti > 1070. Think Asus card is slightly better overall than the msi 1070ti?

This is my personal experience with those brand with r9 390 series.

ASUS: Pretty Good in performance, the temperature is stable, but its fan quickly wear out.

Gigabyte: Standart performance, temperatures tend to be hotter (even with a triple fan).

MSI: Pretty Good in performance, the temperature is rather hot but still in the normal category, more Durable than another brand above.

I have more than two cards for every brand, So I can compare each brand.

I'm currently running (5) MSI Gaming 1070 X cards and I've had some decent success right now  There seems to be a lot of variation though.  Right now I'm mining ZCL and I'm seeing a range of 433 to 464 sol/s.

I also have a test rig of a Gigabyte 1080 ti water cooled, MSI Gaming 1080ti, and a EVGA 1080ti.  I know you're not looking at the 1080 ti, but stock, I'd say the EVGA has the best bang for the buck.  It's not very far behind from the Gigabyte.  MSI in last place.

Hi

I'm currently running rx580 cards and would like to expand with a few nvidia cards. 1080ti is too expensive for me since I would like to add around 6 gpus. For RX cards it's an easy choice (sapphire nitro+) however I don't know which brand I should use for the nividia part? I can get my hands around those cards in my local store in a couple of weeks. Still expensive, but I don't believe we see any decent price drop in the next couple of months.

Power and efficiency is not a primary target (6,5 cents / kwh) it's rather a question which card does represent the best value for money regarding price and hashrate? Did read MSI taking a lot of power and also the Armor cooling (same model used by 1060)is not as good.. 1070ti also doesn't really outperform an 1070, but I think the Asus 1070ti would still be a good choice or better save some bugs and go with the msi 1070? Keen to read your opinion.
