ASUS P8P67 WS motherboard, anyone using these and what set-up?

From reading his post, it's a ASUS P7P55 WS board and he sets it up by putting a single gpu card in the x16 slot and dual gpu cards in the other 3 for 7 total.

I tired 2 GPUs in the first two PCIE-16x slots, and three GPUs in all of the PCIE-1X slots; Windows booted and stayed stable, but as soon as I tried to mine on all 5 GPUs, I got the same BSOD saying pagefault in non-paged area

Sounds like shitty AMD drivers. Try BAMT.

Hey slave, have you gotten four card on that board? or 6 gpus like I'm working on? Going to try BAMT because I think it uses the SDK 2.4 which is better on the 6 series. I also would like to use the latest ATI drivers and latest version of cgminer.

Everything I suspect. It's just a pcie splitter and doesn't play nice with dual gpu amd cards in the first slot.
Just my experience with one board. Also can't use 1x pcie slots on other nvidia based chipsets either as gpu's aren't recognized. Again just my experience.

putting a single in there is fine. I want to put two 6970's and two 6990's on there. So maybe I can put the 6970's on slots 1 and 3 and 6990's on 2 and 4 ?

nf200 north bridge is likely your problem. Can't get the first pcie slot to boot proper with 5970 in it?
If so put a single gpu there and settle. Same issue I have with an ASUS P7P55 WS board.
