I`m using Z270-A (7 pci slots +two M.2). When you use m.2 to PCI adaptor, you don`t need any additional power to adaptor! GPU`s work without any problems. I had zero problems with this board.

I saw you posting about Superior Coin. You do know that it is stolen right? And that you are being paid to post here on Bitcoin Talk from the illegal Kryptonia site with stolen money?

This Board holds 8 cards easily. It is not necessary to invent a Bicycle, it already is. You can put a hub, but why would You add for MB more power. Installation is not cost effective

Hi what would’ you go with out the two mb
I see the PRIME Z270-A as 7 pci-e slots
Where as the Z270-p only 6 iv looked on Asus
And compared the two the Z270-A seems to offer more then the Z270-P
Don’t no if it’s need but I can get both at the same price so what would be best
I think Z270-A but would like bit of  confirmation from some one that no more then me
Or can any one recommend any other Asus mb
Don’t won’t the Asus mining mb as it to costly and not looking to run more the eight cards
Thanks for any info

You can connect 11 gpu's with Z270A

Once again on the slot m2 do not hang additional power supply

Warning!!!! The video sucks!!! m2 slots do not apply additional power!!!!

You need to watch the video again. The m.2 to pcie adaptor has its own power from the 4pin floppy plug to sata (in this case). I have different m.2 boards with 4pin molex adaptors.

Only Z270-P, use m2 slots for PCI-e. Z270-A not enough bus width to connect 8 cards

thus is what I watched

This is a very good video looks  very professional and they look like they no what they are doing
For any one that need help putting 6+ rings on any of the two  have a Z270
It did look like it can be done

Am new to all this so I can’t say that this is 100% right
Am only going on what I have watched

BBT is pretty well known.
Take a look at their store will give you ideas on what you can use.

Here's another video to show that the Z270A works.

I use 3X Asus prime Z270-P. They are very good motherboards for mining. However some boards I was able to mine with 8 GPU some 7 only, maybe because of some settings.

At the same time I heard from my friends that Z270-A 's very problematic MB/

The Asus Z270-A has 7 PCI-E slots and the Z270-P has 6. BBT has put more rigs together than most on this forum and the Asus Z270-A/AR was his go to board for many of his builds this year. He is now switching to the new Z370-A to replace it.

it's your decision, I think you're in a place with him. I do not care to sort it out themselves.
