Oh, I misread. I thought it was a 280 card...

Wow. wipeout your config alterations are getting 750kh.
"gpu-fan" : "60-100",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"temp-target" : "68",
"temp-overheat" : "72",
"temp-cutoff" : "75",
"worksize" : "256",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"gpu-engine" : "1050",
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"intensity" : "19",
"thread-concurrency" : "24000",

I'll try the 2 threads version in a bit but am currently and excitedly testing the longterm stability of this config. Thanks!

Keep playing with your config, because you can definitely reach 850KH/s easy.

Interesting. Have you got your R9 290 (if you have) to work with 2 gpu threads? When I tested mine (identical settings) I'd get each thread to work at around 250KH/s only.

It's working great with -g 1 (850WU~) and I'm not complaining, but just curious, because -g 2 should be more effective than -g 1.

Close ASUS GpuTweak and use these settings

"gpu-fan" : "60-100",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"temp-target" : "68",
"temp-overheat" : "72",
"temp-cutoff" : "75",
"worksize" : "256",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"gpu-engine" : "1050",

Try gpu-engine from 1000 to 1100, raising 10 at a time

Also:

"gpu-threads" : "1",
"intensity" : "19",
"thread-concurrency" : "24000",

or

"gpu-threads" : "2",
"intensity" : "13",
"thread-concurrency" : "8192",

Guess ans check for TC numbers. I always thought the formula was shaders*n ... no wonder they always gave crappy rates!

i will keep tinkering with the settings, thank you for your help. And yes i may abandon my clock settings and start over in that regard.

Asus gpu tweak settings
GPU clock 1080
GPU voltage 1300
memclock 6220
power target 135%

This DirectCU II model has been a nightmare to get 650 h/s out of.
Thanks for your help, i'm stumped Huh.

How did you come up with your TC number? It should be shaders*n + 1. Your number of shaders is 2560 so try various multipliers of this number + 1.
Also, restore your clocks speeds to default. Obviously, if you're getting bad results there's no point using them.
You just gotta spend time playing with your settings, there's no other way. If you're looking for a shortcut you won't get optimal settings.
