same problem with ubuntu 4.0.10 kernel
AMD RX580 and RX570s
AMD or Nvidia cards?
The other issue I'm having is the 1x to 16x riser cards don't want to work in the 16x slots. The system won't post.
I have 6 cards running like this with ubuntu using the 1-3 extender off a 16x port, but it did crash after 9 hours it looks like.
I'm running 7 cards today with EthOS. BIOS doesn't post at all. But system boots up and runs.

well I hope that is not the case, because I got the z270 Prime and everybody here said it worked with 8
Has anyone gotten UBUNTU 16.04 to run >6 GPU's on a Z270 ASUS?
4g decoding, latest bios, PEG set, PCI speed @ 2.
With 5 cards, I see the bios boot and it runs.
With 6 cards, I can't see the bios but it still boots ubuntu but kinda runs slow. Mines fine.
With 7 cards, system won't boot.
