currently quite below the $ 300 price of bitcoin is already said to be good for the purchase. it is a distinct advantage when bitcoin prices go back up to the price of $ 450 - $ 500. but buying now may well not be anything, because I heard the issue of halving that would raise the price of bitcoin

I guess every price under 350 is a good price to buy. For me at least.
i would not buy above 350 since i got a feelings we will see the price go down very soon.
I agree I also bought Bitcoins for around $300 but with the price now going up that is for now not possible any more. Unless the price is going to drop you have to invest more money if you want Bitcoins.

To be honest, I think the price is right now still good with the future it has, it does not really matter if you buy them right now.
There is a big chance you will make profit with investing right now and double your money with the halving.
Exactly, if you are comfortable with current price then you should buy it,as price is not too high at a moment, and looking at the halving we can expect higher price at that point of time.

and lets not forget that not buying now means missing out on the price rise.
just like there are a lot of people who are kicking themselves for not buying bitcoin when the price was $220 and it was stable just like how it is stable now at $420.

Just buy, anytime you want to buy, but make sure that you know when to sell, the only problem with buying at this high price is that you have to wait til the price go higher. but if you want to keep it for good, then buy now, no need to wait for the bitcoin's price to drop very low..

If you need bitcoins for a purchase any time is good since you will cash it out immediately by spending your coins.
When you are talking about trading any price in the 300-350 region is acceptable.
The best price to buy is the lowest price that is possible so the chance is much higher to have some profit with Bitcoin and that is quite nice for yourself so you can have more profit.
The only thing that you have to do is trade or even wait a long time until the value will be higher but you never know when that will happen and that is the problem.

Yeah I know, Bitcoin halving is the key for this bitcoin purchase as of now. because bitcoin rate will gonna move to rocket level price on halving time, we can see big volume of bitcoin adoption in bitcoin market.

Overall I think its good to sell your bitcoins when the price has a nice amount.

1. It has to be pretty low, I think you should never buy them on a high price.
2. The bitcoin is unpredictable so look at the day by day stats.
3. Always look if there are upcoming events that maybe let the price rise.

Bitcoin buying is profited all users unlike the day or time of buying. The price right now is also good enough to get a good profit which may evolve as a very big profit as halving is expected to give big rise.

Bitcoins price is very unstable so difficult to say but I would say anything below $400 is a good buy anytime.

You never know the price before, and that is Bitcoin because it is a currency it is hard to predict so you dont know what will come but investing is not that bad now the price is stable.
Just dont buy it at a too high price otherwise it will be too difficult to make any profit because than you have to wait a long time until the value is high.

The price is not the most important to invest in some Bitcoins the most important moment of Bitcoin is the selling moment you must sell it when you can make a huge profit.
And that is hard to know it from before but you have to take some risks otherwise it will be not possible because you must also wait a long time also to get profit.

Yes, waiting for the price to drop may not come at all. With that, buy on regular intervals and holding them is a good choice. Or while holding, set some coins for trading. Instead of waiting for the right price, buy and make you bitcoins to work. You can earn more that way than just holding.

The best to buy for me when the price hit 370 but the price right now is 410 above and i think this is also good to buy right now because the value of bitcoin after will be double according to the name halving.. so we have still time to collect more bitcoins or to buy..

Yeah and I think there is no best time or best price to buy as we don't know what would be the value tomorrow, so if you find it affordable then you should buy it and sell it when you are getting some profits from it.

If you look at the market today you can see that the price is going down its 419 per btc,so i suggest that if it hits around 410 or 400 thats a good buy for me.
Just look at the chart and do some speculation and think if its a good time to buy or not.

I recalled when it dropped below $200, i had thought getting lot of bitcoin was good idea.  My thoughts were its very hard for it to go below that.  And even if it did, i couldn't see bitcoin falling to below $100.  Even if it did, i felt it would go all and it wouldn't take a long time if bought at around $200.  Now bitcoin has risen up.

How much money buying bitcoin would you say is still a good buy?  Is $430 as its right now still a good buy?  Obviously it could swing down to 200 and thats a pretty big drop.  The thing is i felt like when it went to 200 a while back, that was a time you should have bought a lot of bitcoin.

Thoughts on this?

it's 430$ now, and people buy bitcoins now, you might be suprised because now it is pretty high price to buy bitcoins

people does that because of halving, it makes everyone to buy and hold much bitcoins as possible, because everyone hopes for huge price rise after halving, so you can buy too

well just because halving will happen soon, it is good idea to buy for 430$

but if there won't be halving soon, good price would be 360$ or even less, halving will rise price of bitcoin, so not matter if you'll buy bitcoins 20$ more expensive  now, you still will get more after halving
but if halving really profitable. what happens if halving not affect the price of bitcoin? I think our advantage is not so far away. but if still make sure to buy bitcoin below 400USD price it was the right choice and very wise.

For the moment i think that the bitcoin price is not going to fall to much before the having, so i think that the ideal price to buy at the moment should be near ~$400.
Yeah indeed, if you are investing now in that value. You can make some later more profit and that will be very good.
But maybe you can be fast and just invest now if you want because you can see that the value is rising slowly now and that is nice.

Yes you can make a lot of profit later on this year because of the halving that is coming this years, so that its pretty sweet if you think about it.
I think we just have to be patient for the halving or another price jumping, everything can happen with the bitcoin.
Also the bitcoin has a great future a head but we will see what happens of course because its not to predict right now.

Its always a risk you are taking by investing!

At the moment I'd say anything under 380 would be a good time to get in.  It all depends on the current environment and outlook around crypto.  In a few years I wouldn't be surprised to see it around $1,000, or just as easily floating under $100.

Once the halving has happened I'd avoid being in BTC in general and wait out whatever happens to the price.  We may very well be in the middle of the pump for it, leading to a crash once people realize it isn't going back up to the moon.

the current price is also more than good for buying if you plan to hold your coins for the long term. anything below $500 is a great price to enter the market. i really think we can see the price reach $1000 within 2 years. that's quite a realistic price target if you ask me. i won't sell my coins for anything lower than $700. at that price i will feel comfortable securing some profits. all my other coins will be kept till the price reaches at least $1000.

For me the price at around 350 is a good amount to start investing more and more. Anything over it is too expensive.
Anything beyond it is a bargain.

Yeah, same here, $350 is quiet affordable to buy some bitcoins, as I don't see it falling below that now or even in future, but again cannot be sure what would be the bottom value for bitcoins to buy.

so I just wait the timing

If you are planning to buy and hold, now is a good time to buy. It does not matter what the price is, if you really believe in bitcoin, you'll know that you'll be profit in 2 and more years. So either its 450 or 300 , buy now and not waste opportunity.

Well i bet to differ. I think the price will go back to 350 soon. Then it will be a good opportunity to buy and hold. If your outlook is to hold for 2/3 years. Either be patient or do nothing.
This advice will save you some money.

Right now, $380 would be a good buy point......but me personally, I wouldn't touch Bitcoin at any price unless there was bullish market structure. $430 might be a good price a few months down the line (or it might not), but right now, it is overpriced.

Haha I wish that comment was now, not in the near future lol.

But yeah most of the users here already stating buy now, but theres never a really a good time to buy.

Op just ask yourself how you can reduce the risk if the price does drop and can you make up the difference.

The best price to buy is below $370 so that you can make more profit when the price reach again above 430. Don't expect for the price below 300 it will not happen because of halving started..

I don't think there is any good price to buy, as the price keeps on fluctuating so you cannot arrive at a decision that this is the best price to buy, as price might fall down tomorrow.

it all depends on what your intentions are. if you truly believe in the future of bitcoin and that it will see a significant higher adoption rate than now, then you can safely buy at these prices and hold your coins for a few years. you need to realize that it requires a lot dedication and steel balls to hold without panic selling as you will face huge dumps throughout the years.

Exactly, patience will pay you in long run, if you don't loose your temper and hold your bitcoins for future then you can earn some good profits, or else if you sell at lower price and suffer losses.

Anytime I would say bitcoin is a the best thing to buy Cheesy . But still if you want to make profit by selling it then around 400$ is good price . The usual price for bitcoins is near to 550$ and you can easily profit if bought at cheaper.

Depending on what will happen later this year even the current price can be good. In short-medium term it all depends on what will happen around the halving. Personally I expect some big hype and prices above $800, but of course I can be wrong.

Indeed, it really depends on what is gonna happen this next few years because of you long invested your bitcoin it will take some time but its not to predict right now.

I think we just have to wait till its so far, but now is still not possible to know that because everything can happen.

The price that it is now is a good price to buy if you ask me, I think this is one of the best moments when you can buy bitcoins for a low certain amount, if you compare it with other months.
I think the bitcoin will only go higher from now so buying now is one of the best things you can do now in my opinion.

If you think the price will be higher than what you buy at, then its a good buy.

Before this upcoming halving, anything under $1000 is a good buy. Anything under $750 is a great buy. Under $500 is a terrific buy. Under $250 is spectacular. Under $200, sell the house, car, wife, kids, teh dog and goldfish.

That's pretty much how I thought for most of last year - price was ranging between ~$200 and ~£300, so I bought as much as I could when price was ~$200. I'm much less inclined to buy now, mostly because I've now spent the fiat I'd set aside for BTC!

However... right now price seems to be ranging again, albeit in a narrowing range, If price went down, to above $370, and then began to rise - I'd consider buying more. If price went down, below $370, I'd hold off and see what happened before making any decision. ($370 seems to be the very recent bottom - i.e. February 2016, ignoring the low in late January).

if it's below 200$ then of course it's good time to buy, if 300$, hen it's good time too, because price now is 430$ and still rising, so later might be too late for good price to buy

any price lower than $400 is an awesome deal but the problem is not what price is good, the problem is that if the price is going to go there before the next rise.

which i doubt it happens, the price is not going to under $400 unless someone pulls a Mike Hearn

but now after the recover i'm confident that sub 400 will be very hard to see again
You cant say that. I think 350$ is a good buying price, you are right but you cannot say that btc wont go over 400 again, indeed I am very sure that BTC will soon cross 500 $ again.

i didn't say it will not go above 400, from where you have gathered this in my post?

i said that sub 400 is hard to see again, which is a completely different thing

indeed $350 is a good price to buy. but for several months even before halving, I doubt the price of bitcoin will be back to $350. good price to buy at this time was around $400 i think.

I think if you buy bitcoins for a pric under 400$ then its a good buy, since you can easily sell within a month for 450$ and such. Also if you ever see price around 250-300 then instantly buy some without a thought.

There is reall no specific price to buy bitcoin best. I mean one second the price could e at $400 and the second hour it could be at $450 and back to $350 . What I am trying to say is if you think it is a good time to buy and if you have the money to buy then go. The votality of bitcoin doesn't reall help to determine whih time is best to buy. Just keep buying low and wait for the price to go high before you sell and then repeat.

Bitcoin is special. We all know that 5 years ago 1 bitcoin was worth nothing. And then 2013 was bitcoin biggest year so far with the price breaking $1000.
For now we have quite stable $4xx price, and here is question: do you find this price low or high? Are you willing to wait for it to drop to buy?
With Halving approaching and consensus reached I would rather buy more bitcoins now, price will gonna go up soon.

If you are here for the long term as you should be, you should be buying monthly until you have a good number of Bitcoin worth holding long term.
This is like gold, you need to have a decent stack to hold pretty much forever to have an edge against governmental chaos and manipulation of assets (oil being the #1 most manipulated asset). Even gold is manipulated nowadays so the only sane thing to do is to hold Bitcoin long term, so buy some monthly.

this price compared to the potential bitcoin price has, is so low. so your answer is, it is a good time to buy bitcoin even at $430

but if you want to buy at a lower price you might find $410 on exchangers (reverse spike) or even lower at localbitcoins

Honestly, there is no correct answer to this question. At what price is bitcoin a good buy? It depends on how much capital you are willing to invest and what you think is a reasonable price. Obviously, those who got involved earlier as you could say got a better buy. It is definitely a good time to buy at anytime (better now than never) because I only foresee the price of bitcoin increasing in the future.

right now i think anywhere around $400 is the best price anybody can buy, but there is no guarantee that price goes there and it might only go up and you miss out.

Well I believe it could still be a price that you could profit well, in case you decide to buy and wait until the halving passes and see the price impact it could get. I doubt that there will be considerable downward trend again (aside from the normal range of $10-$15) so I would still buy, even at this price.

So did you buy any bitcoin when the price was under $300? I suspect not or you would not be posting now. Your best bet to get a good entry price now is to wait for a day when some bad news comes out and there is heavy selling volume. That is when you could buy at the better price. Of course the bad news plays games with your head, causing doubts and could convince you not to buy. Then you miss an opportunity.

It depends on your time investing, if you go on short time, the actual price could be a little high to enter, its easy to see an small correction. If your investing is On long time, and you expect that some time bitcoin price will be more than 1000$ the actual price is a good price to buy. When you invest you have to take decisions, nothing is 100% safe.

All depends on your timeframe and whether you're a believer. Short term early/mid 200s was pretty much a no brainer. It sat there forever at that price.

If you're looking for a major rise in the coming months you may be disappointed buying at the current price. It's been straining and struggling and churning. With all the current fractiousness and uncertainty there's a lot that could trip it up.

If you think it's going to take over the world then it's still a fine buy.

There's no GOOD price in the case of bitcoins as if I recommend you to buy at $437 (the currency rate), the price may drop tomorrow and hence it won't be that good then. Any amount is good as long as you want to trade it and if you want to hold, then buy it at an amount you can afford to risk. I usually hold minimum 0.1-0.2 BTC every month as beyond that I fear to lose and can't risk over $100. Sometimes I'm in profit, else I lose.
