Crypto is big in Japan no wonder this step of Atari will be a big hit too. For sure there's more legendary companies that will emerge to join the crypto community or even adopt blockchain technology is big leap to grow their businesses.

I know that after reading that article and i understand what makes atari try to change its direction to the crypto. Let's say Kodak and Long Island Iced Tea Corp try to change the path of the blockchain related companies. And then all of their shares surge a lot.

And then atari was seeing an opportunity for that.
atari try to push its company through a movement to the cryptocurrency.
Well, pacman was the best old game ever. i'm not playing it anymore.  But remember atari will try to join in the casino business for crypto too.

This is just ridiculous as KodakCoin and their miners KashMiner. Wants to make money on old name. same as some darknet shops - so many silk road clones.

When reading the old topics i discovered this project, and i studied a long time, i separated large amounts of money to invest, but i changed my mind because the consensus is time consuming, I'll think about investing once all set. It's a lot of marketing for a coin which is to be launched in the market, that's my opinion.

This is sorta interesting, though I don't know about the crypto associated with Atari here.  Sounds gimmicky to me.  But I'm old enough to remember how kick ass Atari was, and there is a part of me that's rooting for them, even though they were squarely displaced from the industry by Nintendo--actually, by ET and how bad their version of Pacman was, but that's a whole other discussion.

But no, I've played Nintendo games via emulators, but not Atari.   It's way too old school for me at this point.

I don't like these kind of projects. It looks like they are trying to accomplished something and get rich only by sentimental value of this coin, without any substantial fundamental value.

Interesting, im curious what will they do with this. I mean its not like they will devlop new game with atari brand and use cryptocurrency with it. Or they just use their stock as backed for atari cryptocurrency.

It's great to see the re-emergence of old legends. I am very excited about that. Atari was the legend of my childhood. With a good PR it will be great! It's price has risen in the stock market with that currency news since 6th February. Are you still playing Atari games through emulators like me ?
