I Personally have seen similar case with MetaMask and TrustWallet, but I usually just ignored them off, thinking it was due to slow internet or a minor bug from the wallet side. What you are describing with Atomic Wallet showing a huge amount of TON coins even though you have never used TON, definitely sounds off to pop up in first list of your list. It’s probably some kind of display error or syncing issue, but it’s still strange to see something like that pop up, for me it makes me feel happy and tricked instantly.

I have noticed that wallets sometimes show old coins from past transactions, which makes sense because they are part of the history. But seeing a coin you have never interacted with at all, it is whole other level of not understanding for me. Xd, wishing these glitches are real.

definitely just a mistake on the software part, maybe they miscalculated something which honestly happens a lot to some wallet, i don't know why, but it seems the complexity of the calculation causes this issue to arise often.

I think we can remember that time where this one wallet keep consistently displaying meme coin with its inflated fake value that causes our wallet to look like it's holding some random shitcoin worth billions of dollar Grin. yeah that was ridiculous but honestly, not really a problem, just ignores it.

Yeah obviously it is some faulty stuff with the software, no doubt about that. Still I wonder how that's even possible. If it was a currency that I used before ok, but some currency I never used in my life and the wallet address is also unused. So strange.

But anyway, yeah I am aware about the atomic hack, that's why I only use it for minor altcoin stuff that hasn't a lot of value. After it happened I also never stored higher amounts on atomic. The hack targeted only accounts that had quite some money with it, which mine never does and never did.  Cry

A bug I guess, the same thing that some unknown balances appeared when I accessed my old atomic wallet in the past. They'll probably make a new update after this one. Imagine that's for real and a bug that allowed you to withdraw that amount.

It could be a hackers means to do something just to trick you to send coins. I can be wrong. I will advice you not to use Atomic wallet again just as Stalker22 posted. Many people were affected when Lazarus group stole over $100 million from Atomic wallet users. Atomic wallet developers did not know what actually happened. The wallet is close source. Avoid using the wallet. If you need a good Ton wallet, use Unstoppable.

So I just logged into my atomic wallet on desktop and saw for several seconds an absurd amount of TON coins in my wallet.
~

How do you still feel comfortable using Atomic wallet? Wasnt there some incident about hacked wallets after a software update or something?

Honestly, Id be freaking out if I saw a huge amount of crypto in my wallet that I did not put there.  Cheesy

Obviously this is total nonsense, yet alone because I never used TON in my life. I also checked the wallet address at tonscan and of course it's empty like a mf  Grin .
So I wonder, how is it even possible so see such a wrong display? Sometimes it also shows old coins (usdt, ltc or whatever) that have been sent out ages ago, this I might still understand since they are in my history. But since I never used ton for anything I wonder how that's possible.  Huh
