The max bet is dynamic; the amount depends on the number of coins in the house's wallet. It can very drastically from day-to-day or even in the same day.
The maximum bet depends on the funds available in the house wallet. It goes up when they've been winning. I can only assume that they've been losing recently. As of June 11th they were 700 BTC down.
still 5.00 BTC wager limit. Is this going to be the new standard?

Today I look on the site (satoshidice.com) and discover that since my last visit some weeks ago, the maximum bet for the 50% win odds bet (name: lessthan 32768) has gone down from 100.00 BTC to 5.00 BTC!!!
Thats crazy! How am I supposed to bet with any gambling system if I cant be sure to make the same sized bet tomorrow (to win it all back)?
This thread is supposed to keep track of the maximum bets for any of those they offer. Feel free to update the thread for your favorite or most remarkable bets. Please avoid discussions if unrelated and link every claim with a bet (look on the left hand side of the page for bet names).
