Hello,

My username says it all. It’s a scam. I invested 0,3 BTC last year and after a few months I paid out $500 to check if that worked, I got 0,012 bitcoin what was that thousand at the moment, so no problem at first. In  May I did another withdrawal of $1500, still no problem but then the magic happened. At my 3rd withdrawal of $3000 they answered with a list of demands to ‘verify my account for fraud legislation’, pasport, utilities bill, some proof of fund sources. But at that time I got in touch with a guy who had the same and was busy with that for 5 weeks with refusal of certain photo’s and stuff like that.

I asked Atrad for correspondence with any organization that needed my info, and no reply ofcourse. They don’t respond to anything typed in their contact form and only comment on bad reviews on Trustpilot, so after my bad review they just blocked my account completely and are playing deaf. I was stupid and made some good money with the btc boom so no worries about that but I think it will help to warn future investors by bashing them on Trustpilot. Or don’t because you must be a complete idiot to invest with them like me.

Yep.. it seems to be offline (non-responsive) for a while now.
https://atrad.io/  and  https://atrad.io/login  both timeout.
It's still online on my side which means that they are still scamming people.

You can use this site to determine if a website is really offline or just you - https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/atrad.io

This thread has more than enough information proving that Atrad.io are scammers.

I never heard before about that site, and seems this is a scam site to me. It hasn't discussed the forum because any scam detector hadn't found it. The site itself warn their users. Upon opening this site there is a red warning with BOLD character.

To celebrate our outstanding performance in May, invest in June and we will double the interest on your first deposit!
Isn't that a warning? I think so. It means if you invest in June then your fund is gone forever. Whoever promises double return in investment within months simply is a scam. I don't think we need further investigation, it's just a waste of time IMO. Just avoid this and stay safe.

They arbitrate and use an algorithm to predict slight changes and trade large amounts of cryptocurrency to receive large gains and then they distribute the profits to their customers apparently.

They have invested the perfect money machine that gives them 9% a month and how grateful of them, they're splitting the rewards with people investing rather than doing this for themselves? By doing the math without applying to user funds they would be able to double their money every 6 weeks just by not paying a third party, why would they chose so?

I did wonder why they haven’t gone public if their system works so well, they say they have about 28,000 customers right now so they’re like the start up company but I’m assuming the reason they don’t go public is because they are kind of like a Ponzi scheme but I don’t think their intentions are to rip people off.

Of course, they are perfectly legit, just that a financial authority has issued an official statement showing they are claiming to be something when they are not.
Yeah right, stick to your doublem board where you're spamming your referral code  Wink, people here have a total dislike for these scams.

Thank you Sanjeev Kumar for signing up with atrad using my link. You will get 3 months of fee free investing. I make $25 bucks a month from $500 invested. If i invest $5000 id be making $250 per month. Atrad is am amazing company for great interest rates that actually make real interest. Unlike savings accounts that give me like $0.01 per month, atrad is awesome!

So for me they paid me as promised. I invested $500 in btc in January, and today at the end of april i withdrawal all the money which was now $635 in btc minus their $5 in btc. Went very smooth, no problems, just seems like a ponzi scheme but for me, trading short term paid off actually.

Just remember that they are giving you interest on bitcoin and not on cash. So they will be giving you about 9% interest of bitcoin each month, but if the price of bitcoin goes down within the time you are investing, when they give you back your extra bitcoin it might not be worth the same value that when it began. That’s why they don’t give you interest on cash, they give you interest on bitcoin. They arbitrate and use an algorithm to predict slight changes and trade large amounts of cryptocurrency to receive large gains and then they distribute the profits to their customers apparently.

I did wonder why they haven’t gone public if their system works so well, they say they have about 28,000 customers right now so they’re like the start up company but I’m assuming the reason they don’t go public is because they are kind of like a Ponzi scheme but I don’t think their intentions are to rip people off. I think they are just trying to actually run a business that provides percentages for their customers but if the market crashes or something happens that’s out of their hands, there is no guarantee on your return except they will give you the bitcoin back but that bitcoin might not be worth anything if the market crashes.

Here are a couple photos proving that I made $135 over the course of three months I’m only a $500 investment

Bummer, not sure how to manually embed a photo but i did just get my money back today no problem

Hey folks,

came across this website atrad.io and as a bitcoin-trader victim (they offered a similar scheme a few years back that was huge) I am wondering what this is about. Secondly I find it very strange that there are nil discussions here or in other forums, apart from a very short one on reddit.

Thanks!

As pointed out by reputable users here its scam and always think about running when you see some red flags or something you doubt about the platform to avoid any confusion. Seeking information is good and good thing you go here since this place is a good venue to ask something like this so for now just go to known platform to avoid scamming and don't grab those unknown who offer to good to be true since its scam.

Thank's for your advise, arwin100.

And in general, thanks to all participants in this thread for their efforts and time. Very appreciated!

The site is built with Laravel I never heard of a legit website that uses any CMS like WordPress or Laravel.

And look at the foot of the page it does not look professional.

And most of the comments that I found on Google are telling me that this website is a scam. Another thing is some pages are plagiarized with Copyscape.

So for me, like the other said it's scam 100%.

Anyone who offers guaranteed profits are scam and these guys knows it's impossible but still sends signals that will make users think it's not the case for them to attract clients 🙄🙄🙄 If that's not a scam move, I don't know what is.

Bitcoin automated trader sounds more like a chimeras since why they should give a large profit to users if they can just borrow some money?
It would be more cheap working in this why and not taking funds from random users.

Because no one knows anything about this site yet  Cheesy

I came across the website you left above (interface is really annoying, although it doesn't matter when judging). Basically, this site works by using your investment money to trade and make profit, then, leaving you with some monthly profit (if any). This form of investment is not really strange, it looks quite similar to how HYIP and Ponzi work, the only difference here: they do not commit a fixed return on your investment.

Evaluate the most accurate way, this site is not exactly a phishing site, but it has a high risk of phishing. Since they work on your money, if they lose money, you will not make a profit and still lose your monthly costs (you are always at a loss if compared to them). Trading data is not transparent, you will not know how your money will be used. Always have a high risk that you could lose all of your money at any time. I hope my analysis is of help to you to make your decision  Wink

I think this will be better on scam accusation baord. I have just gone through the site and also checked when their domain name was registered, it was registered in 2018, but I only still see this as a mean people can be scammed easily. According to the site, it is said Atrad.io is the first cryptocurrency arbitrage platform, and arbitrage deals with risk, it is like the site will help someone to trade in arbitrage market, taking advantage of different crypto prices, but trading is risky generally, if customers funds are lost, where will they see the money to recover? In this case, it is not advisable.
