Cybercriminals will always try their luck. If they send out 100,000 "emails", for example,  at least one receiver will fall for the phishing attack and hand over funds. I saw this a number of times on Twitter.

Thank you for the notice though. If it can save someone from falling for it, all the better.

And it seems to me that not many people will fall for such a trick. Scammers went too far with 0.5 btc as a reward. Everybody believes in fairy tales less and less. If they offered 0.05 btc, this could be believed by those who are particularly greedy. People have become more circumspect. But still, your warning will not be superfluous.

It's an old trick.
But people still do, and I wonder where they get our email addresses.

there are many factors,
for example ;
if you are using bot or any 3rd party application and at the same time it's linked into your Binance account,you will get this absolutely.other than this it should be because of malware,phising and do not forget the Binance itself.Do not get me wrong and accusing them as a scammer,but we should know what is greed right ?
people will do everything in order to get benefits from their action(for example just like Binance did when they listed BCN on their website).
so many factors that can be determined.

just make sure you do not click it or download it

Social engineering scams are getting more clever every day, it is sad we must warn against them now. Just the other day my dad got a call from scammers saying if he didn't pay his taxes they would throw him in jail. Thankfully he laughed it off because he knew he paid, but if it was an older person who forgotten somehow, god damn I hate these scamming individuals Angry.

Indonesian Translator, #1 Quality is prioritized.
One thing for sure is that binance will never ever ask for our data. Logically, they own the system so why would they bother? those who fell into this phising attempt must be really greedy people. But from the picture I can actually see that they must be doing it professionally and so detailed (the phising attempt ) considering their smoothness, everything is perfect I think. I bet there are lots of people who fell into this phising.

Binance users are receiving letters with an invitation to test a new application for Windows for a reward of 0.5 BTC, which "will be sent to your Binance account". All you need to do is download and enter your data.

This is phishing! Attackers try to get personal data in this way, to access your money. Official Binance does not distribute 0.5 BTC for testing Windows applications. Be careful.

Thank you for bringing this out and I think we have to be careful because the more people know about cryptocurrencies the more scammers think on the ways to scam people through it. I have see this binance giving 0.5btc for just window app download and I think it is force.

Presale is live!
When you are using any exchange or any site that deals with the holding and trading of cryptos then you should always have it in mind that there is a chance of a phishing scam being carried out which means you should be very careful each time you log into your accounts. Mostly, as long as you are not greedy for unrealistic rates, then you do not end up falling for these scams anyway because they prey on human greed.
