Yes, the only bug is the address they signed with, it's 1Bitmix and not mixer [guess they didn't want to spend allot making a complicated vanity address], and if you aren't very familiar with the site, you wouldn't be able to recognize it.

BM.io should really write a note about this, and google/mozilla should show the "red sign" in browser, I reported it but it will help if more (or bitmixer) report as well.

lol, report what? there are lots of bitmixer signatures around here you could've clicked on one of them. how can you prove that you were the owner of sent coins and they can say that they sold you something for the coins, anyways mixing is not legal to expect any legal action taken.

Yes, but report could be good, hackers or scammers will use another domain to fool people, only naive people will be fooled with those obvious phishing websites.

lol, report what? there are lots of bitmixer signatures around here you could've clicked on one of them. how can you prove that you were the owner of sent coins and they can say that they sold you something for the coins, anyways mixing is not legal to expect any legal action taken.

So sorry to hear that for you. Next time you better be careful and check the domain first before making such transactions plus always read their letter of guarantee. There is a reason why they have it and like the other guy said above even a clone can't fake it.

Well I cant blame on the attempted scammers, since we see the btc price sky rocketing right now for the halving situation.

So I guess desperate times call for desperate measures on getting anything for scammers at this point.
