I`m glad when I see that some people try to see this things to make the forum safer..because indeed lately the forum is bombarded with scammers
Not to mention the increasingly high influx of hacked accounts lately. Can never be too safe.
Accounts aren't really being hacked, most people are giving away their passwords.
Not knowingly, but technically due to their own greed. A lot of people are offering less than 3 cents for a sign up, yet people still do it. Not sure why.. but anyway it's almost a 100% chance that the site you signed up on is a site that stores your passwords. If not in plain text, a very simple hashing algorithm which can easily be cracked. This is why you never use the same password on suspicious sites, and stop doing jobs for three bloody cents.
