I've been working on a sort of Bitcoin online wallet project similar to MyBitcoin - eventually I hope to provide a shopping-cart API to allow easier access for merchants and sellers.

It's still relatively new, however in the near future I hope it'll be a serious competition to established wallet sites such as MyBitcoin.

Yes. Except make said knock off sites return the calls of it's customers. Not for the sole purpose of competition breeding better things, but because this one in particular is having issues but is still being used and looked upon as something to be trusted. I am surprised whoever has edited the Bitcoin.it Wiki has not made the MyBitcoin page a little harsher in that criticism section https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/MyBitcoin , I would edit it myself, but that is not my place, someone who has had, or is having personal difficulties with the site should put something on that page, making sure to list details of course.

You have people who want the service
A lot who do not trust the current option/s (some are still being worked on, maybe could use assistance from more people)
People who still use and "trust" the service, as you can see, do not even fully back or trust the service. It comes down to "it works for me"
Be honest with yourselves in your lives. When you are talking about a product or service with a family or friend, and something fucks up for them, but for you everything is fine, you give a 'well it works for me' type response. Deep down you know that is a shit response that means you could give a fuck less. Well established old foggy users of MyBitcoin, start giving a fuck more please. This is going to be a stumbling block in progression, do you want the value of that made up money to go up, stay still, or fade away. As I see MyBitcoin as a "Gox" like site in the sense that in it's field, it is the top dog, so when shit happens with it, it will effect people even indirectly sometimes.
Disclaimer that is half this post - I have not used MyBitcoin, at this point I will not be, that thread was started out as a parody of a thread about deepbit https://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=29018.0, but on the side having my true curiosities there. I am saddened by the results, only again, because so many 'known' member use the service and not a meep about it as long as things are running smooth. I can't be too harsh about, you have to be realistic, if they have shitload of money in this thing and it works, why fix what isn't broke, that is fine for you all. I am saying it is broke and I am not sure how to fix it, nor do I care now, let's get competition going on.
I understand this thread might be weird depending on what you use MyBitcoin for, whether just as a simple e-Wallet or something you used a business solution, I hope this thread applies to all of you honestly. Please no one take this as MyBitcoin hate, but more MyBitcon wtf. I honesty hope to promote again merchants that use the service, but right now promoting those merchants and even traders using MyBitcoin is promoting MyBitcoin use, which I know I can't do.
