no that's horrible tbh, go on ebay check out a hp 1200w server psu grab that and a break out board for it a cheap 20 dollar one will do fine, all you need is one with an on/off switch, Baikal miners only use 12v. that psu you have there provides more than 12v and would require bit more to be able to just turn it on and off with out frying it

Great thanks!! I just cancelled the psu i ordered from mightyape.co.nz lol

Ill start looking at what you guys are talking about.

Thx!!

Here's my review of the Baikal Quad Cube powering with the HP 1200w server PSU. The same should apply to the Giants if they also use the 6pin molex.

Those server PSU are better then ATX power supplies for Baikals because you don't need all those other fancy connectors from an ATX psu. Just get a breakout board and plug the cables, then done. The HP server PSU is also platinum rated, so win-win for a cheap price.

Okay sounds good!

I will try "that route".

I have no idea what a breakout board is at this stage lol.

Ill do some searching...

My psu just crapped out i think.

It came with the 3 giants i purchased. (second hand psu)

Im not too familiar with the names of the "output" cables ..coming from the psu.

But i know its gotta have 6 or 8 pin connectors...

Would anyone know if "this" psu...would "do the trick" to run 3 giants?
