Sample chips already shipped:

Hello,

I'm auctioning half of my order for 280 chips. So in this auction you can buy from me 140x Avalon chips from [Group Buy] Avalon ASIC Chips (SebastianJu). I ordered in batch #3 however the batch number isn't so important (especially first ones) because most likely batch 1 - 4 will be shipped together, because Avalon seems to process multiple chip orders together. This is even more certain after seeing the pictures from Avalon's chip designer:

There is a lot of chips in these big boxes and I estimate delivery within next 2-4 weeks. Currently AFAIK all group buys are closed so if you missed a train then this is a great opportunity to get the chips. I'm selling only because I need money now, normally I would wait some time to get more profit from mining.

This is burnin's 20 chip board - already working and testing is almost done. Burnin is a manufacturer and designer of the boards and shipping destination is already linked to him. Of course you can choose someone else but both SebastianJu and burnin are from Germany and this is the quickest way to have complete miners in hand. Burnin has been very professional and successful so far in his development, he achieved something alone within small period of time where BFL failed.

Chip specification:

110nm, 0.282 Gh/s, ~2w

However this can be overclocked, and burnin already tested overclocking capabilities:

20x 256Mhz = 5.120Ghash/s - 36 Watts 142Mhash/W
20x 320Mhz = 6.400Ghash/s - 50 Watts 128Mhash/W - this is with only air cooling! Imagine water cooling blocks with those babes !

... and he is still pushing it more !

341 Mhz 1.2V 57.5W - passed long term tests with 0.2% hw-errors.
409 Mhz 1.2V 68.04W - hw-errors increase to 3%
448 Mhz 1.2V 74.4W - not stable
448 Mhz 1.25V 81.6W - unstable 50% hw-errors
448 Mhz 1.28V 84.016W - unstable 50% hw-errors

It means that with max overclocking you can hash at ~450Mhz and that puts these boards quite similar to KnC like project when profitability is taken into account (Price per Gigahash), but you can have it a lot quicker than KnC which is a huge advantage.
Today burnin announced water cooled version of his board so most probably when he will finish his board you will be able to push it to it's max limits !

Auction rules:

You buy my order from SebastianJu's group buy. All rules and terms from that group buy apply.

Within 24 hours after the payment has been received, I will instruct SebastianJu to accept you as the new buyer and forward your username and payment address. Please note: you should be able to sign a message with your payment address, so your ownership of that address is without doubt.

The smallest order amount is 20 chips. You can buy more but only increments of twenty. So for example you can buy 40x, 60x, 80x, 140x but you can't buy 21x or 103x.

I expect payment within 24 hours after the auction has ended to 1JVdR2bCnM1H1hp5PNAN83P6czXFerBdgp

If the buyer fails to deliver payment, I will offer the order to the next highest bidder.

Bidding and price:

Starting price for chips: 0.28 BTC/chip = 39.2 BTC/140 chips
Increments: 0.005 BTC/chip

Instant buy price:
0.34 BTC/chip = 47.6 BTC/140 chips
When you order instantly smaller amount than 140 then the auction continues for the remaining chips.

Please bid in the following format: 40 @ 0.28 which means you want to buy 40 chips paying 0.28 BTC each.

Escrow:

I'm quite a new member of this forum so I also set up an Escrow service through SebastianJu. You will pay only to Sebastian, not to me ! Sebastian will release funds only when I confirm that a bidder is a new owner of the amount of chips that he bought. You don't pay any Escrow fee, Escrow is 0%. Instead of that I will donate some btc to Sebastian for each bidder.

Happy bidding !
