We have a single coin of a completely different design that was also part of the testing phase, before we launched the Denarium project. That coin is actually in the Coin Box picture in this auction. It will be auctioned separately after this auction, didn't want to put it here since the valuation is quite different due to the coin being the only one of its kind.

What makes these prototype coins?  They seems to be just error coins

They are not error coins, they were some of the first Denarium coins ever minted, test designs. Produced for testing our production methods and to decide our final designs. So not made in error but simply not used for mass production.

The question is klaaas, is your 0.06 a valid bid now that the old one would still stand? I want to confirm this since there was a rule confusion.

Yes, i can be noted for 2 bids.
1 at 0.05 and 1 for 0.06 btc

That is against the rules technically. If you make bids in a new post, all old bids are automatically canceled. You can make multiple bids in the same post however.

But we can agree that both count now, since we're far from the end of the auction still. So to clarify klaaas has both a 1x 0.05 and 1x 0.06 bids in.

If so, then it would look like this.....

I was assuming this indeed.

Indeed the latter is correct. Ezeminer bids not currently winning. Wouldn't make any sense that way.

Should the bid specify if it's for the 1/10 or the 1/100 coin?
No. Winners will choose in succession (starting from the highest bidder) which coin/coins they choose. So if you want to make sure you get one of each type, you would need to have bids for 2 coins in the top 7.

Affordable Physical Bitcoins - Denarium.com
Description: Auction for 14x Limited Edition Denarium Prototype Brass Coin
Starting bid: 0.05 BTC
End date and time: Thursday 17th of November at 20:00 UTC and when there have been no new bids in *3 minutes*
Payment methods accepted: Bitcoin
Additional information: Read below

These are unique prototype Denarium brass coins that have never been sold and they will never be on sale. It is a very limited edition set. The difference to our regular brass coins is that the denominations of 1/10 and 1/100 are reversed compared to our regular coins.

In this auction we are selling 14 coins in total, 6x 1/10 bird coins and 8x 1/100 horse coins. These are all the coins of this type in existence with the exception of a single 1/100 horse coin, which we are keeping to ourselves. Additionally we are later auctioning in a separate auction a single coin of a completely different design that has never been used in production either.

All coins sold are pre-assembled and ready to ship right after the auction. The coins sold in this auction have special serial numbers:

1/10 Bird: A132, A133, A134, A135, A136, A137.
1/100 Horse: A138, A139, A140, A141, A142, A143, A144, A145.

General pictures of the coins (1/10 Bird and 1/100 Horse)

Packaging

Each coin will include a complimentary coin box! Picture below.

Quality of the coin

The coins are regular brass coins, which means the surface quality is not of the highest standard. However what makes these coins desirable is their very low production amount. These are prototype coins we have never sold and will never sell at our website.

General information

You are ONLY bidding for the coin itself, not the bitcoin value inside the coin. If you win a coin, you can choose to buy it loaded which will add the denomination in BTC to the auction price (either 1/100 or 1/10 BTC, depending on the coin). Or you can choose to buy it empty. To the US we can only sell coins that are not loaded by us. The "empty" coins can easily be loaded with bitcoin value by the customer himself/herself, however.

Shipping cost

As a speciality for this auction, shipping will be free of charge worldwide!

Serial numbers

All the coins have special auction serials (A). The coins in this auction are A132, A133, A134, A135, A136, A137 (for the 1/10 Bird) and A138, A139, A140, A141, A142, A143, A144, A145 (for the 1/100 Horse). These are very special since all the coins sold at the website will have either L (loaded) or E (empty) serials. Additionally these specific coins will never be sold by us on our website, extremely limited edition.

The winners of the auction can (in succession starting from the highest bidder) choose which coin & serial they want.

Shipping date

The coins will be shipped right after the auction and payments have been finished.

How to bid

You can bid for any amount of coins from 1 coin to 14 coins. The bidding format is "Nickname 2 @ 0.5" which means "I'm bidding for 2 coins, 0.5 bitcoins each". If you want to bid for one coin only, post "Nickname 1 @ 0.5". If for all of them, post "Nickname 20 @ 0.5". The auction is conducted by using 2 decimals only. So you can bid "2 @ 0.51" but DO NOT bid "2 @ 0.511".

So if I were bidding for 2 coins and 0.5 BTC each, I would post "Technomage 2 @ 0.5". If you forget to add your nickname, the bid will not count. So don't forget. It is much easier for us to record the bids when the nickname is also posted.

Each winner will pay exactly the amount that they bid. Meaning that if the highest bidder bid 1 bitcoin and the lowest winning bidder bid 0.4 bitcoin, then the highest bidder will pay 1 bitcoin for his coin and the lowest winning bidder will pay 0.4 bitcoin for his.

Auction rules

- When you post a bid, the bids in your previous posts are considered to be automatically canceled. You can put multiple bids in one post, however.
- All bid prices must be evenly divisible by 0.01.
- If two people bid at the same price, the person who bid first will be first in line to win a coin.
- Bids are considered invalid and will be ignored if they do not specify the nickname of the bidder, the price of the bid and the amount of coins the bidder is bidding for, or if they could not possibly win any slots.
- Winning bidders must inform me within 24 hours after the end of the auction which coin & serial number they are choosing and which country the coin will be shipped to. Then the winner has another 24 hours to pay the full auction price.

If these rules are confusing, please ask in the thread and I will answer.

I reserve the right to reject bids, even days after the bid is made. If bids are rejected for any reason, the next bids in line that didn't win originally, will come into play and will have a chance to buy a coin.

Important: Auction payments should ONLY be paid through this BitPay Checkout page: https://bitpay.com/m/750380/checkout. Do not, under any circumstances, make payment to a Bitcoin address sent by PM.

Good luck!
