XRP coin looks cool. I had to laugh at the detail description though: "Only" 10,000 will be made.

Since there have been reports on rim damage on some of the Satpulse pieces, could there be some more detailed photos of this piece?

Greets Tank

I also tested it with my Sigma Metalytics machine, and the silver did test at 99.9%

that would be a question to ask them. There are lots of makers who currently sell loaded coins.

I am not involved with the XRP coins at all.

edit:

perhaps this is done where this is a "collectible" which is being sold for more than the intrinsic value. And they view this as a non "money transmitting" action.

Does the maker live in the usa? That's all that really matters I Think to FINCEN. Huh

There are quite a few makers who sell loaded collectibles right here on the forums that are in the US - I wonder how many have the money transmitter license?

Money transmitter licenses are one of the hardest to attain. You require licensing in each state you plan on operating in, so all 50 if you desire the entire country.

The cost for this process alone is minimum $2 million federal reserve notes and could take 2 years.

When PayPal was created back in 2000 they conducted business without an MTS for several years until FIN-CEN went after them. Only then did PayPal peruse an MTS. Startups in the financial services sector rarely have the legal and financial firepower to get an MTS. Startups often resort to skirting the regulation and just paying the fine when they are caught.

There is speculation that the bankers make it so hard for the average company or business that is not highly connected to get MTS so as to not challenge the monopoly the banks hold.

This gentleman Faisal Kahn is an expert on this and all I know I learned from him.

Disobey.
Crazy rare pieces... I'ma give it a shot, but looking at some celebrity collectors that already joined the auction let's see how this goes.

to help with explaining the differences in the coins mintage.

There were 1000 coins made. 974 with  a silver hologram, 15 with a gold hologram all numbered 0000 with letters above QR code, of the 974 there were 11 with errors, those 11 were then used to create 8 with gold holograms with the numbers #1-4 and 97-100 and were accompanied with the book above. The 3 remaining were not used.

Ah, thanks for the explanation.

So regarding these gold holo coins, all were sold with the book - where did these sales happen?

8 accompanied books and are numbered as specified above. 1 of which is in this auction. The 15 with gold holos and numbered '0000' - I cannot answer where all of those went, I only know where 1 of them is.

Okay thanks. Will be interesting to see if any others ever pop up on the forum. Sounds almost similar to some of these crazy rare Satori custom chips.

Anyway, almost forgot to place

how are they getting away with selling loaded coins (xrp) with crypto on them legally ?

Well XRP is worthless in my opinion so I guess it makes sense 🤭

From makers Elias (elianite) and SatPulse comes the #0001 Edition of the 2023 Limited Edition Autograph Coin & Encyclopedia Set

Here is what Elias wanted to say about this collaboration/set:

This coin is the first of 1,000 of the 0.001 BTC (1K bits) funded SatPulse bi-metal coin, created for the October 2023 SatPulse Silver Symposium event in Las Vegas and sold out before the event, primarily in rolls of 10. Its center is 0.5 oz silver, and its outer rim is brass. It is the first set of coins minted by Physical Bitcoin Mint, which in late October released its second coin, the ‘XRP Army Coin’ (1,000 mintage).

The COA is directly inspired by the COA of the “Autographs Edition” of the Encyclopedia of Physical Bitcoins by Elias Ahonen, and a special print of 100 numbered Encyclopedias were produced in conjunction with the event and mint launch. The COA and Encyclopedia are signed by SatPulse and Elias, with both also bearing the numbered 1/1000 hologram on the reverse.

This 1/1000 coin and 1/100 Encyclopedia were reserved for its author, and are being auctioned here in order for both to find their way back into the community!
