jakedeez is legit as far as I know. I bought an Avalon Mini from him a few months ago on ebay (his ebay acct: jakedeezauctions), and paid with btc with no escrow, and he delivered.

Of course, I paid too much (ebay prices), and won't ROI, but I knew that before I bought, and that's not really relevant anyway.

2.5 BTC looks like a reasonably good deal. I think you'll ROI if you have cheap electricity and don't have to drive far to pick it up.

bid 2.5

local pickup

no escrow

And we have a qualified bid!

These are located in a warehouse in Lexington Kentucky - we'll have to work out the details because the guy that runs the warehouse is sort of a night owl... (Heavy metal band/tech guru)

But for now, you are the winning bidder.  Auction ends Friday.

Ya thats fine, I can come at any hour.

I would appreciate if he could show me what he did to get them running.

I would buy these except that it would be around $1000-1500 to ship them to me.

Here do you live?

Guys, there are seven total rigs, with at least ten and as many as 12 working cards.  I really don't have anything to offer other then to say the minimum bid is 2.5 bitcoins and that is a CRAZY good deal.

How much electricity does running it like this burn? If you dont have free elect, I feel like you're taking an L running these machines.. I could offer 1-1.5 btc depending on the elect needed to run these. I'm pretty sure each unit runs at 600 watts which would be 4200 watts total for 300 ghs.... Cry thats insane

Couldn't the working cards be taken out of the non working rigs and put into the working rigs?

i dont really know
Thats the first thing I would try. It would make these things way easier to sell and reduce the shipping costs a lot.

None of them work independently.  they all have to be rigged together.  The total number of working 30 gh/s cards is 10.

Nothing?  Is 2.5 btc not a decent starting price?
I was tempted to throw down that first bid at 2.5 BTC, but then I realized I didn't have 3 BTC
I'll start the bidding at 0.01 BTC only if 60% of my bid goes to charity (if I win).

Youre suggesting I should accept 0.04 btc for 300 gh/s?

Listen, I am a charitable guy, ask around.. but you want me to accept $30 for 300 gh/s?  I do appreciate the bid... but tat's is kind of insulting.

Guy's just being a moron.  I wouldn't appreciate that offer if I were you.

I mean, I appreciate someone is interested.  I think 2.5 btc is a SUPER fair starting offer for these rigs.  If you wanted to buy them from Yifu it would cost like 15 btc.

Would you mind clarifying how many are working 'normally' and how many need to be jury rigged due to bad controllers?

thank you!

Sorry man, I didn't realize you would take offense to that.  The bid was a joke, my apologies.

So we bought 50 of the avalon mini rigs in the trade hill auction a while back.  We've mind and sold most of the rigs... there were a few that had problems, usually with one of the two cards or the controller card.  As as result we now have 300 gh/s left across 7 total rigs.  This can't be sold to a noob here, because, as you can see, we've had to do a bit of magic to get them all working...

So there are seven total rigs, but they don't all have working controller cards... however, there are ten total working 30 gh/s cards.  The seven rigs, working together do work to produce the 300 gh/s

We are done with this round and want to just liquidate the rigs.

If you are in or near Lexington KY we can do the deal as a local pickup.

As for price, I mean, I'd like to get offers.  Please realize there is going to be a few hundred bucks in shipping total - my guess is about 200, but it could be 300 with all the insurance.  I am not willing to pay the shipping fees but I am willing to cover the escrow.

I am willing to accept payment in BTC, LTC, USD, and believe it or not COYE - I personally am not a COYE fan, but for some reason my business partner wants COYE...

Remember your offer should include shipping costs, from KY - zipcode 40508 - for seven boxes weighing about 35 lbs each.

Again, please realize, these rigs have been opened so this really can't goto a noob trying to get into mining... this has to be someone who knows what they are doing.  Please bid accordingly.

BTW - FOR THE WATERMARKS - I am jakedeezauctions on ebay... if you want to send me a message there I can confirm with a response.

Tomatocage will be running escrow.

Bidding starts a 2.5 BTC PLUS THE COST OF SHIPPING and a 2% escrow fee.  Minimum increment is 0.01.  I feel like this price is super fair to start and you should be able to make a nice profit either reselling or mining.

The auction will run for five days - until Friday afternoon at 2:30 PM EST.

Anyway questions - please let me know.
