It appears CanaryInTheMine has received his transfer of shares. Confirmation and trust feedback would be appreciated.
maybe a dumb question, but how do I know they transferred? I have no email, PM etc...

Unless you were expecting direct shares from multiple sources, by checking the BTC payment from the ASICMINER address to the BTC address you provided. Friedcat only sent me a confirmation by PM.

You received a payment for 42 shares more on the 6th november than your payment on the 30th october.
Yes, I did. I'm used to seeing a message from fc (cc'ed) on transfer and didn't so wasn't sure if something changed over there... if you don't mind, plz forward it to the email addy I provided. Thanks!!

what's up with this? seems like the auction has been over for quite some time and you also got a div payout after the auction ended of 0.0035336*42=0.1484112 on these 42 shares?

Sorry, I just have so much to do lately. As agreed in PM, you can take the share cyclops doesn't want to pay.

You can deduct this week's payment from your winning bid:
CanaryInTheMine 42 @ 0.665

42 x 0.665 = 27.93 BTC
27.93 - 0.1484112 = 27.7815888 BTC

27.7815888 BTC to be paid to 18CoGAeLJzwG3iLkBj1vARYDWW7eC7qUQ1

If you wish to wait for a signature for proof of ownership, please provide an email and address to give to friedcat. They will be included with payment instruction and transfer approval in signature.

There is no problem getting one share right? Neither transfer commissions or things like that?

The last bid was on 27 October 2013, 22:49:00 UTC, if I'm not mistaken. This means this auction ends in 7:10 hours, if there is no new bid.

I know that, I want to get that info.

If in a worst case scenario the share price falls with more then 50%, the winning bidder is obligated to watch his investment crumble and does not even have an option to react within these 48 hours.  Huh

If the share price were to suddenly drop more than 50% there's a good chance the winning bidder would disappear from the forums forever or come back a week or two later with some excuse saying they were kidnapped, arrested, in the hospital, or something.  Not saying I would condone that, just that it could happen.

Or you can just keep outbidding yourself forever, every 48h, to ensure the auction never ends...

I was interested, but the auction settings provide a sure gain for the seller.

When the share price rises there will always be someone bidding close to the current price with a 48 hour time window.

And once the share price falls nobody will bid anymore, and the seller locks in the difference.
He can even opt to buy new shares for a lower price immediately and take the profit.

Smart auction of the seller, but I will never participate in an auction with these settings anymore.

If in a worst case scenario the share price falls with more then 50%, the winning bidder is obligated to watch his investment crumble and does not even have an option to react within these 48 hours.  Huh

OK, I understand now, thanks.

My bid : 42 @ 0.652

If I win some shares, I'll send payment after public signature of the following text in this thread with 18CoGAeLJzwG3iLkBj1vARYDWW7eC7qUQ1:

I will ask friedcat to transfer ASICMINER shares hold by 18CoGAeLJzwG3iLkBj1vARYDWW7eC7qUQ1 to after payment of BTC to due before

Where the actual values would be:
  • n : what I would win in this auction if any,
  • address1 : provided by me after confirmation of auction results,
  • amount : what I would have to pay for the shares,
  • address2 : payment address provided by Namworld,
  • date : both a time limit for buyer payment and a protection against replay attack (for the seller).

I have trouble following the dividend payments identifying an address controlling ASICMINER shares.

18CoGAeLJzwG3iLkBj1vARYDWW7eC7qUQ1 only received 2 payments since 2013-04-05 on 2013-10-16 and 2013-10-09. If it's the address associated with the shares why didn't it received dividends before 2013-10-09?

1Namjies9JeJ4ugCzjkAj6dbaWrtjAFKCk recently received regular payments on Mondays, this doesn't match Wednesday payments from friedcat.

Which address is associated to these shares currently? Since when? From where/whom were the shares transferred to the current address then?

1Namjies9JeJ4ugCzjkAj6dbaWrtjAFKCk is receiving payments on mondays from Teramining

18CoGAeLJzwG3iLkBj1vARYDWW7eC7qUQ1 is the address I have on file with friedcat. I received 42 direct shares 2 weeks ago, hence the 2 payments, from a DMC redeem.

Namworld, what BTC Address are these shares registered to?  Can you sign a message with the private key from that address or have friedcat confirm that 42 shares are registered to you?

The address is my old GLBSE address for the closedown:
https://blockchain.info/address/18CoGAeLJzwG3iLkBj1vARYDWW7eC7qUQ1

Which has transfered almost all funds received to 1Namjies9JeJ4ugCzjkAj6dbaWrtjAFKCk

Which is the bitcoin address associated with my OTC profile: http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewgpg.php?nick=Namworld

You will notice the two latest transactions are for the equivalent of 42 ASICMINER shares of payment received from ASICMINER's sending address.

Would you still like me to get a signature?

I've done auctions with X after last bid ending and low minimum increment. They end relatively quickly regardless.

Rules stay as they are.

It's your auction... how about an expiring bid? Would that be an acceptable solution or is that not fair play?
