I'm glad you like it.
I can't wait to hear feedback from other people

Feedback from my side is A++++++ without even seeing them. I like yogg works from day one. One of the cards I always keep in my wallet  Smiley - I just love them. All of his creations are super attractive and thoughtful. You have coldkey behind you - you are good to go. COLDKEY has changed the crypto collectible culture tremendously once again. For the second version of chips, i think it would be better if you modify the chips in a different way if yogg allows of course. I understand you have more of the same chips left. Coldkey is Coldkey and there is none like Coldkey same as Cas and Bitbill. I am sure Coldkey will continue keeping its superb quality, artwork, histories and fixed low limited editions and extremely selective when choosing its partners. My favorite coldkey card is the genesis but I like all the Coldkey cards.

Best regards,
Rainbowsky

Only improvement I could think of is to add the public adress on the chip. Maybe this could be done with a RFID chip melted into the chip? That would be crazy cool, and shouldn't be more expensive than a $ if bought in bulk.

Great idea !

I like the RFID chip idea. It will be super cool and I will be first on the line.

I like that idea as well - I may try that on my next batch of chips! gotta finish selling all the current ones first. And still looking forward to getting my chip from guigui371 to add to my collection!

Wow I actually forgot to post here.

The chips are fucking awesome.

I was quite (positively) surprised by the weight of them. Only improvement I could think of is to add the public adress on the chip. Maybe this could be done with a RFID chip melted into the chip? That would be crazy cool, and shouldn't be more expensive than a $ if bought in bulk.

mistakes happen.

What matters, is that you came straight/clean with the situation & found a viable way to resolve it - by minimizing your loss &  keep everyone (edit: I assume "everyone", hence let's say instead, "at least the majority") happy -

That's really appreciated.  Smiley

Update time,
All the coins have been shipped.

There has been a little hiccup but I have found a solution.

In my auction description I have said that I would cover the $3 shipping.
Then in the DM I sent to winners, I have asked for $3 (first mistake).
To make it up, I have added a free, blank chip, a couple of holograms (NOT COLDKEY ONES) and a few stickers into each envelop.

I was going to just leave this as a surpirse but something else happenned  at the post office and I need to come clean.

The post lady informed me that, the new rules with NZ post is that only letter can be sent as letter. Ie : just paper, nothing that can't be folded.
Even though the chips and their protective capsule fit into a standard enveloppe, and are below the max weight they had to be sent as a parcel.
Parcels to USA and Europe are $17.26 NZD ( = 11.54usd). This is really the cheapest option possible.

Obviously it is my mistake and i am assuming the extra cost.

However, to reduce cost, I have sent  the 6 or 7 letters I had to the USA to Minerjones as a bulk.
I'll coordinate with him for reshipping costs (i will pay). Each letter has the name (you gave me) on it, and address.
If you have entrusted me with a delivery address, I assumed you would be ok with minerjones as well, as he is the GOAT around here.

For the one person that lives in europe, (in a small country with a lot of sun, good cheese and very old buildings) I have shipped stright to you.

Conclusion :
I have collected by mistake $3 * 7 from buyers.
I shouldn't have offered the $3 option, this will not be available in the future.
I have given one blank casino chip to each of you for my mistake.
I have paid $11.54 * 2 for shipping.
I will pay minerjones to dispatch coins once they arrive in the USA.
I am at loss on the shipping, but it is fair game.

If there is a next one, I'll be more professional.
Cheers

I may have to do one more serie of these coins.
I'll check with Yogg is he is okey.

I won't probably do an auction, but just a set price.

Let's see what happens.

Nice. Can you guys do loaded ones? I'm sure you'll find like 85% more interest.

Thanks again!

They would be #22 to #xx with   "xx" being less than 99. They will on the same design.

Is there a protective layer on top of the hologram (similar to the implementation of the coldkey card, where a sharp blade is needed to cut through)? Or is it just the hologram?

It is just the hologram.
However, Coldkey has done some "extensive" test :

Hey everyone Smiley

Here is a preview of how the chips look like after being equipped with a private key and a hologram :

They're very nicely done ! The feel in hands and the weight is great.
Congrats guigui371. Smiley

I will try to find/come up with a few enhancements that should render this chip more secure.
I don't know yet but I'm sure I will figure something out. Smiley

The ones that were commissioned by guigui371 will be produced next week and I'll send them back to him afterwards.

Like for the Polymerbit 10th year of Bitcoin note, a list of all the addresses will be released and signed by my primary BTC address.

just to make sure I am not confused, there is a private key under the holo but you have no way of knowing which one is which for the public address? and they are unfunded?

your questions are very legitimate, and being an ESOL (English As a Second Lenguage), my wife likes to call me that (haha), my sentences and explanation are sometimes confusing.

There is a private key under the Holo
The private key was made by Coldkey in their french office
The holo was supplied, and applied by Coldkey
The final product, is a fully working Coldkey product, with all the perks of any regular Coldkey product.
The final product is composed of : a Coldkey-casino-chip with an holograme and a private key under it. It has a matching paper public key and everything is in small ziplock bag. The sets were sent in individual ziplock bags from coldkey.
I have never had access to any private keys.
All rules relative to Coldkey private keys are the same for these Coldchips.
The coins for sale by auction are unfunded.

Hello everybody,

I believe the coins are relatively famous around here. (see Raffle and Ann thread)

They are the collaboration between @yogg (Coldkey) and myself.
It all started with my intention to do something cool for my familly and have a bunch of casino chips to load and gift for special occasions.

I have changed my strategy and decided to sell some here. Basically to recoup cost and because I realy think people want to have one.

At this stage there are 21 casino chips in existance, 1-6 will stay with me and be gifts to familly (unlikely to hit the market ever).

#10 was won by TheNovemberMan  (to be shipped same time as the other coins)
#7 to #15 are with me in New Zealand.
#16 to #20 are in France in the premises of Coldkey.
#21 is a prototype owned by Yogg

It is important to note that the coins are not engraved, and that without the piece of paper, it is not possible to know which # you have nor the public address. Private keys were generated by Coldkey and the hologram installed by them. Coins come with airtite capsule as photographied.

If the interest is there, I will make another batch for sale with coldkey (the likelyhood is high).
They would be #22 to #xx with   "xx" being less than 99. They will on the same design.

To avoid any auction drama, one shouldn't assume that there will only be 21  chips in existence. And thet they are getting a linited edition.
One thing that you can be sure though, is that these are an original ColdKey custom made product, and that they all have an AuthKey to verify validity on the coldkey website.

Photos of the chips with my new phone :

I'm selling each ColdChip as a lot.
Available lot for the auction are :

I'm not an auction expert, stealing auction rules from Minerjones.

*Local rule: Please limit posts to bids or comments/questions about the Coldchip.
STARTING BID for each lot: 25 USD/color]

MINIMUM BID INCREMENT: 1 USD
END TIME: 4th of September  9pm30 - PARIS Time - France (GMT+2) .... I'll let the interested parties convert to their time zone
**Payment due within 48 hours of auction end**
SNIPE: Any bid made in the last 10 minutes will extend the auction 10 minutes beyond the ending time.
If within those 10 extended minutes, a new bid is made, 10 minutes will be added to the auction from the time of that bid.

The above only works per lot, If one lot has a bid within the last 10 min only that lot get extended. The other ones (if no late bid) will finish at the time set at the begining of the auction.

PAYMENT: Bitcoin BTC / Dash / Tezos / ETH . A message will be sent to the winners with payment address make sure it comes from my UID

SHIPPING (added after the auction closes): Based on location and preference. It is going to be a hard one. I'm in New Zealand.
Some of the lots are in NZ. I will cover the price of unregisterd untracked mail ($3 usd). It take 21 days to go to USA. I had sucessfully send a few items like this. Risk bear with the buyer (if coin lost, I will send a replacement for free on the next batch, you may have to wait a bit that is all).
I could send it as a courrier  with a 3 to 10 working days (outside of COVID19 disruption) for   20usd  It is expensive, but the actual cost. Nz Post is super expnsive to go overseas.
If you bid on a lot that is with Coldkey (#16 to #20) in France, shipping would be free with your next coldkey order. Or $6 usd if you don't intend to order a coldkey in the foreseable future.

correct bidding format :
Lot1 @ 25usd
Lot2 @ 25usd
Lot1 and lot2 @ 25usd ( if this format is chosen by a bidder, it means that it is the price for each lot)

incorrect bidding format :
1 Lot @ 25usd  (lot# unspecified)
Lot2 @ 25.5usd  (uncorrect increment bid)
all lots for $300  (it may bring confusion to the price per lot)

Happy bidding.

I you don't want me to know your address, I could ship to minerjonesthat could reship for you.
You would have to organise this with the man yourself and cover cost of the service.
If you want to use an escrow and pay at reception, this is fine with me, we can use minerjones or Yogg. Fees for the buyer.
