Yesterday a 2013 graded Casascius went for 1.22BTC. The Casascius market is slow right now...great time to be buying, but selling is rough.

Yesterday a 2013 graded Casascius went for 1.22BTC. The Casascius market is slow right now...great time to be buying, but selling is rough.
I tried selling a few Casascius coins on ebay. Most of them received fake bids. Since you can't leave negative feedback on an incomplete auction, you have to choose between leaving bad feedback and getting your 10% final value fee refunded. Total waste of time from a selling perspective too

I can vouch.... I tried to bid on it using BidSip, but my password was wrong, so I missed out. I believe it was actually graded too???

Narrow your ebay search to only include completed auctions where the item has sold, and you'll see that it's all lowball prices on brass coins, most of which are fairly obvious fake bids in a failed attempt to make it seem like the sellers are going through huge quantities of coins.
I doubt very many legitimate Casascius deals happen through ebay.

I agree with you, that is why I basically ignored ebay when setting the price, and basically searched for previous deals here in the forum.
