It's strange that you are aware of a better market for this item, but refuse to utilize that market.
Yes, I was looking for a place to sell stuffs and get payed in BTC, and I just found this forum.
Usually when I sell some pieces of my collection, I do it on ebay, for euros... but now I would like BTC  Cheesy

In my opinion, you're not doing yourself any favors by posting it here for such a high-price and rigid rules. Good luck with your sales
Yep, again I agree with you Smiley But I don't want to sell this console below my starting price. I prefer to keep it.
But I will change my way of selling things for the next time, on other items.

That is a beautiful piece of art and i wish I could afford the $500 you are asking.
This will make a very special person lucky whoever wins your auction, bringing back childhood memories bigtime!
I will be following this thread in the event you would like to lower the price or if noone wants to bid.
Thank you for the artist ! and thank you for your interest  Wink

It's strange that you are aware of a better market for this item, but refuse to utilize that market. I see no problem with letting your auction run out it's time, because it's entirely possible that someone is waiting to snag it at the last second. In my opinion, you're not doing yourself any favors by posting it here for such a high-price and rigid rules. Good luck with your sales, but E-Bay favors buyers even after they abuse and ruin your equipment/goods.

Well Bill Gator, I think I agree with you. Maybe it's not the good place.
If I wanted to let the market decide, I would have sold it on ebay where I know there's a public for (and so ok for a 1$ starting bid - actually the starting bid here is my reserve). I will not put a lower starting price on this item. I'll let run this auction to its end.
But I keep your advice for the next time Wink

I've been wrong before, but if I had to guess I would say there's going to be an extraordinary lack of interest unless you are willing to lower the price. It's a nice looking piece, but you would garner more interest on a gaming forum or a retailer more suited to this sort of thing. It's rare that gaming transactions actually follow-through around here. I wish you the best of luck, but it might be best to remove the starting bid and allow the market to decide what it is worth. That's a guaranteed way to bring in some interest, but you can't have any reservations or expectations about the price if you go this route.

Hi everyone,

I want to sell my impressive Console NES customized in Game and Watch Zelda style.
I have this console since 2012 https://www.link-tothepast.com/custom-console-nes-game-watch-zelda/
It's a unique piece realized by a french artist (http://veensone.blogspot.com/2012/09/oldies_20.html)

Description

The console was painted according to the Zelda Game and Watch box, except that the Triforce has been replaced by the Nes version of The Legend of Zelda. This logo is a silkscreen printed and glued on the top of the console, under several layers of varnish. Silkscreen blends in perfectly with the paint and is almost undetectable. All around, the wall effect and climbing plants are hand painted, almost identical to the box Game and Watch.

Where the artist was really strong is that he did not stop at the console and the controllers ... He went into making a box for the console! And although the console itself is already beautiful, the box gives it all its magic : the console suddenly becomes a precious object transmitted by the Goddesses since ancient times, a treasure to protect !

The inside of the box has several compartments that allow you to store the console and joysticks safely. All the inside (upper and lower part) is covered with fabric.

The box completes making it a valuable object, an ultimate artifact overflowing with an unknown force. You could see that the box is "broken" in the center, as if a force had exploded from inside. It's the power of the console ! Smiley

Notes

Please note the Game and Watch you can see on pictures is not included
Power cable and scart of the Nes are not included (this is not a console for playing but for collectors - if you just want a simple Nes for playing, feel free to PM me.)
Note also after years, the grass on the box is not anymore green but turned brown.
