Concerning your request, I would prefer to stick to the method I have in place for prefunding coins.

To date 0 of my shipments have gotten lost or stolen as they are sent USPS Registered Restricted Mail.

I'm not too sure on FinCEN's view on the idea of having a 3rd party holding coins that I would not control but in effect would be "allowing" to be transferred to be held for funding of the coins once they arrive in your possession. In essence that 3rd party would be "money transmitting" by their definition.

I prefer to keep things as straight forward as possible with the least amount of parties involved.

I'm not exactly what recourse I would have if you (or anyone else) decided not to fund the coins and decided to sell them unmarked but unloaded (not that you would, but the possibility exists).

I may in the future decide to change this but for now I will keep it as is.

Would you consider allowing an escrow to hold sufficient bitcoin to fund the coins that I wish to be funded until the coins are received to alleviate the risk the coins are lost in the mail? This would prevent you from holding customer funds (which you stated you do not want to do) and would prevent the buyer suffering from the lack of the USPS's competence?

Would you consider, prefunding them once I have rec'd the coins? I pay you the BTC to fund them before shipping but you hold the BTC and don't fund the coins until after I have rec'd them? This way, I don't have to worry about customs and if the coins are lost in transit I'm not out a ton of money if I bid and win the auction.

Not sure they command a premium, but they certainly sell better. I would not buy one tagged "Buyer Funded", but have bought several that were not tagged so.

Do you see a premium for coins that are not or are marked with buyer funded? Curious to know what this seam seemingly has done for value in the past.

The brass coins come in ONE tube of 20. Addresses will be in green font type with no particular vanity prefix. Coin #'s are random. The silver coin will come in an air tight capsule and a single-coin black leatherette.

For this auction there is the option to not fund the coin prior to shipping or to pre-fund before being shipped. Specifically for this auction I will allow the winner to choose which coins and how many they want to be funded. Not all of the coins need to be funded. But any coins that aren't prefunded before shipping will marked BUYER FUNDED on the holograms.

THESE COINS ARE BUYER FUNDED. Should the winner choose to pre-fund the coins before I ship them, they will accept the risks involved with shipping funded coins through USPS registered mail.
