Missed this, not an uncool creation, would have loved to collaborate on stuff like this actually. As in the fantasy worlds of superheroes, villains are or were often also hwroes, it is at least of curious interest to get a sense of how the community perceives personalities otherwise viewed by the mainstream as heroes.

Is there a place to see the entire card deck and other details? Have an idea for it will send you a PM in a bit.

For starters, Roger would not return 50 dollars to a user here on the forum years back.  The user had accidentally overpaid for an item and Roger determined that he could keep the money.

In my opinion, he conspired with others to spam the bitcoin network in an attempt to destroy some of its most fundamental functions of bitcoin.

He is a convicted felon in the US for selling explosives

He pledged that Mt. Gox was solvent, he made a video in an attempt to convince others to leave their money there, he stated that he determined they were solvent. Mt. Gox was not solvent.  People lost their life savings.

If you consider the above actions those of a hero, go ahead, that's you.  I am going with Villian.

I wasn't calling Roger a hero.  Although I was around in the days when he was called Bitcoin Jesus for the work he did promoting it early on.  It was more intended as a thought provoking quote in reference to an entire such series.  Certainly not something to start making assumptions over.

You're right though, he is a convicted felon for selling fireworks on eBay.  He also has had a very negative attitude towards Bitcoin Core over the more recent years in it's history that myself and many here do not appreciate.

Good luck to you and Corrossive Creations with your new series.

Thanks!  Corrosive Creations is quite talented and fun to work with.

I will be giving as many of the remaining ones as I can to forum users I meet in Vegas at the Conference.  Introduce yourself and one is yours.  I will be wearing a Lesbian Cow costume in honour of holloween so should be easy to find if you wish.  I will most likely be hanging around with a dude dressed as a Mantis.

When will the rest go up for sale?

That is a fine question and I honestly have not considered when/if I am selling the rest.  I plan to give a bunch away at the upcoming Vegas conference and I am hanging onto #1 and #2 should I ever run into Roger and/or Jihan.

I reckon I will sell the rest on here after the Vegas conference.

Hello Everyone!

Corrosive Creations and I came up with what we think is a fun idea - The Villains of Bitcoin Trading Card Series.  The cards are aluminium and an example is shown in the photos below.  This is the first of the series and is limited in number to 100 cards.  This first card features Roger Ver on one side and his buddy Jihan Wu on the other.

Today's auction is for serial numbers 4 thru 10 as well as #50 and #100.
