everytime i see auctions like this it becomes more and more obvious that we need a sticky thread on auctions board with some rules roughly handling the process of an auction.
One of the rules should be that you have to actually transfer the shares.

"Pretty much exactly the same" isn't sufficient. At the end of auctions, seconds (even a single one), can make the difference between a valid and an invalid bidding. Then you just look at the time of the posts and there is no ambiguity. You don't "put windows side by side", keeping pushing f5...
