I was able to extract the public key so the QR code is clear enough. 12dty9aqFQheTQj5qu2Xw1skPwbynP7mdD

Frank, is the QR code burnt inside the leather or is it inked on by stamping? Will it fade due to usage or wear and tear?

If so why not place the QR code INSIDE the wallet where you have the text placed? It will be protected from any wear and tear  Wink

I like the idea btw, a BTC wallet within a FIAT wallet   Cheesy

It is NOT stamped.  It is photo engraved so it burns the image into the leather; shouldn't fade, since it's burned leather and not any form of ink.

Hey, cool idea to have nice real-cash leather wallet combined with crypto.
Also I think Krogoth idea with user-submitted public key is great. Will keep an eye on this, definitly interested. - Maybe more individualization possible (same print/burn as the pub key)?

Could be possible, yes.  Just not with this one, this one will remain as it is.

Wallet looks pretty Good, I would consider getting one if you could put my personal public keys on it without sharing its private keys to anyone.

Can definitely do that, too.  First I needed to do a test, so I wasn't comfortable taking keys and hoping the wallets turned out okay.

Still watching it if anything updates!

Frank...Why not have the propestive customer  make the keys and GIVE YOU the public key?

This way he is the only one who has knowledge of the private key?

So in other words I can give you my Mycellium Public key in QR format and then the btc will automatically go in my mycelium or any other wallet for that matter.

You can generate your own paper wallets and just take the qr code..put on wallet...load it and then sweep...experiment bro.

I did with a LOADED shirt>>Tshirt>>>>        Loaded Bitcoin Tshirt >>>  https://i.imgur.com/9KaZY31.png
And yes I designed and loaded it with 0.002BTC...... so scan the QR private key and take it if you can
 Cheesy

In the case of the shirt I wanted people to attempt to scan the Private Key QR code and sweep away the BTC....only catch is it was BIP38 encrypted!  Cheesy

and a loaded stamp>> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.20957878

So where is the actual private key? Do I need to ask Minerjones for it?

That's correct.  To ensure privacy, we asked him to not ever send the key to us, and rather, to the customer of the wallet.

A Lynx Art first!  This is the first one made.  If it's popular, perhaps I'll do a few others, but I will not be making any more than x5 of these, at most.

Keys were generated by MinerJones.  Private Key is held by MJ and was never shared with us, only the public key.

Wallet features the public key on the outside of the wallet so you can accept Bitcoin right to your actual leather wallet!!  Inside it reads "Financial Freedom For All."
