P.S. If you didn't see this when you clicked the Google manilla-boxed ad link for GoDaddy's "$0.99 Domain Name Sale", then fix your broken computers.

johnniewalker has won the auction, tipped me for the tip, and registered the two domains. Leaving this open in case he wants to say what they were.

I know of two unregistered .com domains that are *bitcoin.com and *bitcoins.com (they start with the same variable and end with those constants) - with GoDaddy's 99 cent for 1 year registration deal, the pair would cost $2.34 total (ICANN fee included).

It's not random letters, random numbers, random symbols, or all of the above. They're under 15 character domain names. I wouldn't have posted this auction if it were a pair of POS domains.

I want to auction this tip rather than register/squat them myself, wait 60 days for the transfer unlock, and sell them at a higher price. I think just the tip is valuable, as there are very few decent Bitcoin domains left.

Please reply with your bid (if you're outbid, you will need to reply again, as this section blocks edits).

Auction ends Jan 9 2013 at 0500 UTC - handy conversion to some local times:

I will PM the two unregistered domain names and my payment address to the winner if they are not registered by then.

Namworld exercised first right of refusal  (he also did so while GPG authed in private) after winning the first auction:
They're actually nice domains, but I passed on them. Not a field I'm interested in starting a project on and I don't like sitting on domains too much.
