I originally wasn't going to auction this coin, since it's been cleaned, and I know that cleaned coins are frowned upon by coin collectors. Yet I received so many private messages asking about my remaining Casascius coins (only a couple left and I plan to keep the good ones for myself), I figured I'd let this one go, since it's my least favorite.

Years ago I foolishly placed this peeled coin in a plastic sandwich bag, and the cheap plastic caused the sticker residue to become sticky and gooey and gross. So I cleaned it. Not the smartest move, but at the time I never thought Casascius "carcasses" would be collectible. I'm starting the bid a little lower than before, and it's a short auction, but I'm curious how it will do compared to my previous auctions. I know I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel with this one, but I'm sure other people will take better care of it than I have.

(And yeah, I know the date in the photos isn't today's date. I took the photos over the weekend and planned to start the auction then, but I didn't have any free time until today.)

And sorry about no shipping to Canada for now. Hopefully deliveries resume soon!

Thank you for looking and bidding.
